FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually figure it to be $40/coat. So to paint the ceilings it would be $40 for 1 coat, walls would be $40/coat...etc
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually get a phone call from the homeowner and I'll see if I can help them. If so, I'll try and set up a time for a free quote. I'm very flexible on meeting times and can usually accommodate people for a convenient time. I'll then head over and walk around the job with the homeowner to see the whole job. I am usually able to give a quote before I leave. Hopefully, they'll agree with the price, then we set up a start time. I like to get some of the payment on the first day of work. I don't like to wait until the end of the job to get full payment, so I try and get payments in 33% increments.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been painting professionally for over 15 years. I've painted many local schools, churches, stores and residents across western mass. I'm very experienced with most aspects of residential painting and will let you know if I'm not comfortable with what your project requires.
