FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to Full Sail University, and studied music production, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree. During that time I had the opportunity to learn a wide range of genre's and styles, but have narrowed my focus down to Urban/Pop R&B Soul and Hip/Hop.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked on a song called "Thought She Was The One" by a Raleigh, NC singer/songwriter named Lee Sykes, who currently is enjoying lots of success from it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Because music production can be very costly, I would prefer that you know exactly what you want to do before you waste your time and money. Some people think that they can write a song on the spur of the moment, so they show up to the studio with just a pen and paper. Well it can be done, but if you want to write and record a commercial hit song, then you would need more preparation and practice on your performance before you think about recording.
