- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is as follows: I charge one price for a purely Jewish wedding and a little more for an interfaith ceremony since more time is involved. I include travel expenses and do not charge extra. If a couple cannot afford my honorarium, I work with them if they are reasonable. I also co-officiate with priests and ministers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read a great deal, take online courses; watch newscasts all the time and stay abreast of what is happening in my field and in the world.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love my Judaism, my ability to communicate with others, my care for others and my dedication to social justice and the repair of the world. If I can do a drop of those goals, I will have succeeded in my profession and done my part for the individual and the community.
