Gloria is the best, I started with a quick google search and found thumbtack which linked me to her. After one phone call she knew exactly what I needed and delivered me an entire weeks supply pf food with a custom tailored menu only two days later I was amazed and after my fiance' saw how great the food was she joined the diet as well and we have both been eating glorias food for 3 months now with amazing weight loss results. I was lucky to have had Gloria cook for me for two months post-surgery for breast cancer. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My services are charged by the hour, plus the cost of food. My time begins when I start planning, shopping, prepping, cooking, cleaning and going back and forth to client's home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first have a phone conversation with anyone who might be interested in my services, see if I will be able to help them. Once we decide it is a good fit, I get a $300 deposit and then we do a 45 minute chef's questionnaire so I understand all their food likes, dislikes and any medical conditions that needs nutritional understanding. (which I understand) The deposit is taken off the first order. Then the client chooses from my menu and I customize each dish to their specifications.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a BS in counseling, study for 1 year Macrobiotic cooking, studied many other different healthy ways of eating, including: Zone, Weight Watchers, Dean Ornish, Paleo, Atkins, Gluten Free, and Dairy free.
