We had THE BEST experience with Cassie! We had a party of 11 women & she did not disappoint any of us. Her cooking, energy, & timing was absolutely perfect. We all had a blast & were blown away when she met all of the dietary needs of the room; from vegan, gluten free, vegetarian & others with no restrictions. The way she pulled off all of that, while still making delicious food was amazing! 10/10 would recommend.Sep 21, 2019Verified
Cassie cooked a fabulous 3-course meal for our bachelorette party. She was on time and left the kitchen spotless. Would definitely book her again!Aug 13, 2019Verified

We had a great night and a great meal with Cassie! I contacted her on pretty short notice. She was super responsive and very proactive with menu suggestions. I hardly changed anything she offered. She showed up on time, whipped our amazing apps together and our guest were wowed by her spread of delicious appetizers. Cassie spaced the meal out perfectly and our guests are still raving about how delicious dinner and dessert was. She makes a killer cheese cake to boot! Thank you Cassie for not disappointing.Oct 26, 2019Verified
Wedding and Event Catering
Cassie provided a wonderful experience for a bunch of old friends. The dinner was excellent (loved the butternut squash soup), her timing was perfect. She's very personable, and even took pictures for us. It was a terrific evening.Nov 4, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?-Even though Thumbtack has a two-price-point structure (basic & high end ingredients) I work hard to make the most of your budget, and source as locally & sustainably as possible. -I am happy to travel to you for any event! Under 25 miles there's no charge, 26-50 miles it runs $50, and 51-100 miles its $75. If there's an instance where I am asked to travel more than 100 miles, it's a $100 travel fee. For reference, I am based out of Providence, RI. -Wedding cakes have strict payment plans in place and require a “cake contact” (we agree on payment schedule and give all the necessary details about the big day!) -Pricing is reflective of the quality of ingredients used, specific equipment, delivery, labor, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?-We’ll talk details. What do you envision, what flavor ideas you have, goals, etc? I’m here to help you have a great day/experience, so we will talk at length for what you need. - I also very much appreciate knowing of any food based allergies in the dining party, along with any dietary restrictions. I do work in a kitchen where nuts are present and flour is typically airborne. If you have someone with a severe allergy to either, I may not be the one for you. - Have a favorite dish? Let me know! We can work it into the menu *usually* without an issue.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Started out in food service when I was 15; after high school I went to Johnson & Wales University and graduated with my bachelors of science in Baking & Pastry. I’ve been in industry 10+ years and have a main focus in bread and French pastry.
