I teach saxophone students of all ages and skill levels as well as beginning and intermediate clarinet students. I work closely with parents and students to customize instruction to meet your individual goals, while making the process fun and engaging. As a performer, I specialize in classical repertoire for the saxophone and transcriptions of work originally for other instruments.
Mr. Dennis has both the ability and patience to teach students of all grades and competency level. He makes learning fun and my daughter looks forward to her Sax lessons every week. Mr. Dennis pro-actively puts music ensembles together to showcase his students work and boast their confidence. He also suggests outside programs for the kids that both challenges their comfort zones and expands their musical horizons.
Renee got in contact with me immediately and provided me with an excellent piano/voice instructor for my 5 year old.
I recently signed up for piano and voice lessons with Julian and couldn't be happier with my experience so far. Julian is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
Our teaching philosophy is to instill a love of music through inspiration. Along with several years of teaching and performance experience, as well as successfully clearing a background check, Musika teachers are also graduates from reputable domestic and international conservatories, colleges, and universities. Musika Music Lessons takes time and consideration in pairing each student with a professional music educator that will help develop an understanding of all fundamental principles in music. We are happy to accomodate each student with any special requests that they may have.
Energetic, very knowledgable, able to change speeds to the level of the student needs to maximize lessons. Wonderful personality. Just seems to have great passion for this.
Thus far, I have had 4 lessons at Music Makers with a guitar instructor. I love the location and demeanor of the instructor, the price is right, and the scheduling options are also great. I am very happy with this find!
We offer brass lessons, woodwind lessons and piano lessons as well as instrument and accessory sales. We offer new and used instruments.
I am a saxophonist and reed player and teacher based in Boston. My aim as a teacher is to help students of any level reach their music-making goals.
My daughter began lessons on bass clarinet with Katelain when she entered high school. She helped her make the switch from clarinet to bass clarinet. She learned alternate fingerings which helped her play the more challenging pieces more easily. Katelain has a calm demeanor and is very pleasant. Katelain was also "therapy" during that frustrating freshman year when the music seemed so hard to play. The lessons and/or Katelain made my daughter a more confident player. If our younger daughter switches to clarinet or bass clarinet, we will definitely seek lessons from Katelain.
I am a young Music Education student with the desire to make a change in the lives of students by showing them their full potential and helping them realize the musician within themselves.
I currently teach at the Brookline Music School, Sharon Music Academy, and the Jordan/Jackson school in Mansfield. I also help take care of my parents' over 100-pound Black Lab.
I've been taking guitar lessons at Page Music for over two years. They've do a great job of tailoring the instruction to my interests, abilitiy and available time as a working adult. The instructors that I have dealt have been skilled and very personable. In addition, they offer monthly jam supervised jam sessions for groups of students at several different ability levels. These are a blast. The general atmosphere is structured enough to provide a challenge, but low key and pressure free. I would highly recommend both the private lessons and jam sessions to any adult looking to begin or resume music lessons.
My daughter started taking clarinet lessons with Manda last year when she was 9. She is now also taking beginning piano because Manda's been such a patient and nurturing teacher. She's very calm, proceeds at the student's own pace, and often goes above and beyond what I'd expect her to do. My youngest (7 yrs.) has also started piano lessons with Manda. She is sometimes easily discouraged, but Manda is keeping her motivated.
Amy helped our daughter advance from beginner to member of the school band in just 6 months, and she did this while making learning fun and practice sessions enjoyable to listen to!
