Carol painted my large kitchen in a beautiful luster stone finish. She has experience and artistic ability unlike any I have seen. She worked with me every step of the way to ensure I got the result I was dreaming of and she was always willing to help me with ideas and answer questions. Her pricing was very reasonable for the unique and artistic service she provides. Her work was perfect She was punctual and extremely pleasant. I would recommend her to anyone looking to hire a faux finish painterMay 16, 2018VerifiedCarol L.'s reply
Thanks, Chrissy! It was a joy working with you and fun to see this former blue kitchen transform with this elegant, soft pearlescent finish. Enjoy!
Carol was AWESOME! She transformed our kitchen for so much less than installing new cabinets. Highly recommended. Quality of work was great- she was timely and careful.Oct 19, 2017Verified
Stain and finish an old dresser, Excellent work in a short period of time, she even polished up the brass handles. All at a very reasonable price. I would definitely hire PAINT IT again if the need arose.Feb 14, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All my work is custom, so there is no standard price. I charge for labor and materials, and do not mark up my materials. Rather than charge by the hour, I charge by the job, which I think is a fairer way to price for my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? To accurately price a job, I really need to do a site visit or have very good photos and measurements. I require a 50% deposit to secure a start date and to purchase supplies. The balance is due in full upon completion of work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied art at the Art Institute of Boston, have taken business management classes, and a host of decorative painting classes throughout the 19 years I have been in business. I continue to take classes to learn about new products and techniques in my field to stay current with the trends.
