Introduction: My professionalism, ability to assess personalities quickly, my timing and sensitivity to people. With knowledge of various cultural ceremonies am able to shoot in multiple environments from infants to baptisms to bar/bat mitzvoth, engagements, weddings, family portraits. Having photographed in the corporate world for 20 years, I have business skills, as well. Love ZaZa's Photography!!!...Risa Marlen, Wedding Celebrant, NJ My husband and I hired Nancy Katz to photograph our wedding in October, 2007. I had known Nancy approximately six years, as a neighbor. I knew that she was creative and intelligent, so I trusted that she would do a reasonably good job when she told me that she had become a wedding photographer. I had no idea how competent and professional Nancy really was! She knew exactly how to capture the moments that we wanted -- even though at that time, we probably didn't! As a bonus, she gave us a mini-album of her favorite photographs, which I carried around with me, and proudly showed to absolutely everyone. One of our friends was getting married within a few weeks of our wedding. She was sufficiently impressed with Nancy's work at our wedding to hire her on the spot! I would gladly recommend her as a professional photographer for any, and all, life celebrations without hesitation

Nancy took photos for our daughter's bat mitzvah and created lovely collages with the images as well. She was attentive to what our family was looking for and captured the energy and feeling of many of the special moments of the day. She has lots of creative ideas on how to display and present images while still accommodating your personal style and needs.

Nancy did the photography for our daughter's wedding. She was receptive to our suggestions, was prompt at arrival time and stayed beyond the time allocated time. Nancy shot the groups of people at the wedding in her unique and creative way. Each photograph was like a painting. They captured the person's expressions as well as their movement. Nancy worked every minute during the wedding to ensure that there were going to be enough pictures to choose from. All of the photographs are treasures. After they were printed, Nancy went beyond expectations to ensure that the sizes, cropping and finished product were to our ssatisfaction.

I worked with Nancy on two occasions, my daughter's wedding and my mom's 95th birthday. Nancy is a consummate professional who knows how to capture the best moments for a lifetime remembrance. My daughter's wedding was beautiful and the photos reflected the day's highlights. The album is a treasure. My mom's birthday was a huge success with a small group of family, complete with babies. Nancy managed to capture all the candid moments as well as the toasts and perfectly lit birthday cake. I enjoyed working with her and will call her again for our next important event.
