Sean did some freelance work for my husband and I awhile back, the two of us together just couldn't seem to ever get it done right. The quality of his writing is well worth the price!! Thanks again, Sean!

Sean comes with actual first hand experience when it comes to pieces about boxing. Unlike most analysts/commentators who have never stepped foot into a ring, Sean is able to really able to elaborate on whatever it is that is going on from the fighters point of view that only would come from actual experience. Sean’s work overall is very authentic and full of heart.

This was the first time I had used a freelance service, and I have to say that I will definitely be using Sean again. I have already recommended him to a couple of my colleagues, and would unhesitatingly refer others to him. I was tapped at the last minute by my boss to do a major presentation. Some how I managed to pull it together, but knew it could use some polishing up. To make a long story short, Sean stepped in and gave it that professional touch it needed. Thanks to his efforts, my big day was a success. Couldn't have asked for a better result. He's easy to work with and reasonably priced, but most importantly, he delivers a great product. . I gladly would have paid a lot more. Next time you need a professional, look Sean up . You won't be disappointed.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

You will get what you pay for when you hire me. As far as quality writing goes, I beat the market price, while still delivering a fantastic product, which my reviews, references, and writing samples clearly reflect. Due to the nature of writing and editing being highly varied in both style and subject matter, I price on a project-by-project basis. I have flat rate, hourly, and per-word options available. Under special circumstances for local jobs, I can meet with clients in-person. However, due to the extra time this requires, it will result in a higher price for the job. Since I work alone, all meetings have to be in a public location. Absolutely no exceptions to either of these conditions.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To start, I like to have an in-depth conversation with the client to figure out what they would like to gain from my services. Before beginning a job, I want to establish exactly what I’m expected to do, what the client’s budget is, and whether I’m a good fit for the job.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been professionally writing or editing in some form for the better part of the last five years. I studied creative writing and English literature at UMass Amherst. According to my professors and peers, my more technical essays, as well as creative prose pieces stood out. I’m currently a staff writer for Round By Round Boxing, writing columns on the sport I love and still participate in on a competitive level. Aside from that, I’m an aspiring novelist. Freelancing is the perfect way to monetize my passion for writing while I’m working on my own larger projects. That said, I fully commit to anything I’m working on in the moment. Your project is my primary concern.
