Introduction: I have 37 years in the industry. I have worked in every aspect of the feild such as Sales, Production, Installation and Service. I understand the need to be flexible in all aspects especially budgets. I am differrent than other contractors is that Through out my career I have been training other home improvement managers. Through this I have seen the mistakes and learned from them. Along with everything else I like the challenge of creating something new, rebuild an antique or honing my skills or larger projects. This post is long overdue but I did want to recognize Marks excellent work. This was a small woodworking job that required both creative solutioning and fine cabinetry skills. Mark was timely, skilled and very pleasant to work with at a reasonable cost. I would definitely work with mark on other projects.

We needed to install a microwave/hood over the stove. There was only a hood below the cabinets. We hired Mark to present us with options for reconfiguring our cabinets. Mark cut the cabinets and doors and installed our microwave for us. He did an excellent job with the cabinet and the install. He was very personable and easy to work with. My wife and I are very happy with the finished product. We are currently getting a quote from Mark for future cabinet work/refinishing.

Trust you gut. It may be a cliche' but it is usually correct.

Budgets. Set a budget and let your contractor know what it is. Nothing is more frustrating to a home owner when their projects keep hitting budget constraints because the contractor does not know where the budget lies. A good contractor does not use a budget to take your money at Hollett and Son we use that knowledge to present you with the best option for the money you have to spend.
