Introduction: Using an approach which is natural and holistic, my goal is to help you live in the healthiest body you can, using the least medication and drugs possible. I integrate different energy-based healing modalities, as well as give advice and support on diet, nutrition, and much more. I am licensed in auriculotherapy/ear acupuncture, which I do without needles. It is safe, easy (done sitting in a chair) and effective! I respect and honor Western medicine, and am happy to consult and work with your regular doctor if you like, as a partner in your health care. I also am trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT), and can help you or your child to address and solve many of life's challenges. I have reasonable rates. I am compassionate and caring. A week after a root canal procedure I was still having pain. Dr. Resnick administered two treatments, each lasting approximately 10 minutes. As he worked he told me exactly what he was doing and reassured me that it would not be uncomfortable. The day after the second treatment I had no pain at all from the tooth that had been bothering me! I found Dr. Resnick to be professional and very reassuring. I wouldn't hesitate to seek his professional expertise for any future health issues that arise.

I went for one ear acupuncture treatment to try and help with painful and heavy periods. The three months following my treatment were the lightest and easiest I had in the three years prior! I plan on going back for another treatment. I was a little embarrassed to discuss this issue with Dr. Resnick, but he was very compassionate and understanding.

I saw Dr. Resnick on the advice of my daughter. I had broken a toe several months ago and was having severe nerve pain in my foot whenever I walked more than a few minutes. I must admit I began the visit with some anxiety but as soon as I met Dr. Resnick I realized I was in good hands. He was compassionate, listened, and administered a treatment that was painless and seems to have been effective. The pain occurs less frequently now and is definitely less severe. I plan to return for further treatments. I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Resnick.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continually studying and learning; it is a life-long (at least one ilfetime!) pursuit for me. I have several other degrees, as well.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been on my own journey of healing since I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 20. Doctors have limited tools, and I have seen great success with diet changes alone.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One patient, a 74 year-old woman, came to me with bad dental pain after a root canal, as well as pain from an arm injury. After two treatments (each only 10 minutes), she told me it was the first time she had been off of pain killer medication in a long time.
