we have a precocious and sometimes challenging four year old daughter. Otis has been the epitome of patient encouragement while teaching her chords and songs on her Doc McStuffins ukulele. Worth the time and money, we couldn't have asked for more :-)
Prior to taking formal lessons, I had tried some online lessons and guitar books with limited success and great frustration. I decided that I should give formal lessons a try and began taking lessons from Rob in February of 2016. It is safe to say that I have made great progress over the last 10 months. Rob is a patient teacher and always very encouraging. He knows when to push students out of their comfort zone so they keep progressing. Rob makes learning guitar really enjoyable....lessons are truly my favorite part of every week.
Guitar Lessons : I had a good experience with Andy. I had to stop lessons for a long out of town trip. Plan on starting back in the spring 2014. I had a mixed bag of guitar skills and he was able to focus on what I needed to learn and show me how to do it. Thanks
Inigo is a great guitar instructor. He is very knowledgeable in multiple guitar styles and great at explaining music theory. He is easy going and encouraging. It is great making music with him!
My name is Benjamin Tice. I am in a band is called The Wordsmiths that plays in the New England/New York area. I have been playing guitar/songwriting for 9 years, I also play the Ukulele. I am also an eight-times published poet, most of my focus is on songwriting, but I am just as good at guitar. I will teach you how to write music as well as play guitar like a professional. I can record songs for you and help you along with your musical endeavors.
I have three guitar lessons with Evan and he has already given me so much great stuff to work on! I had been teaching myself for about six months, but Evan has done so much more for me and shown me so many ways to improve. I am really looking forward to continuing learning from him.
I am a 27 year old Berklee grad currently teaching out of my Malden music studio located off of route 28 and .7 miles from the orange line. I also teach out of Boston Guitar Works in West Bridgewater on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I teach guitar, bass, ukulele, music theory, and composition. I also provide guitar maintenance and modification services as well as transcribing and arranging for bands and individuals. I prefer to teach ages 12 and up but do make exceptions. The point of music is to have fun and I will customize every lesson to meet each student's individual needs.
My name is Adam Trudel. I give lessons for many instruments in Hingham or in your home. I am employed by the Archdiocese of Boston and have the lessons at the church I work for on Main St. I believe in a comprehensive learning program that remains fun and engaging, and I am well versed in many styles. I am college educated, and I have been playing since I was four. I'm sure that I can meet your musical needs! Thank you.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Bill for about 7 months. Being an older student, I was very nervous, but Bill quickly put me at ease! Bill listens to my goals and directs our lessons towards attaining them, with a teaching style that is full of humor and patience! I would highly recommend Bill to anyone interested in learning the guitar!
I am a working musician who performs regularly throughout the Pioneer Valley. I have 19 years of experience with stringed instruments and have been giving lessons for over 10 years.
I recently signed up for piano and voice lessons with Julian and couldn't be happier with my experience so far. Julian is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
Throughout my career, I have been in many bands and taught at various music studios throughout MA and NH. I have experience with students of all ages and skill levels. I currently teach private music lessons in the North Shore area as I continue to write and record my own music. In addition to drums and guitar, I also have experience teaching piano, bass, alto sax, flute and ukulele.
Lydia was so accommodating with scheduling our session. She is professional and thorough in her approach. She even provided homework and research on breathing techniques. I will definitely seek her for future vocal lessons!
If you're looking for guitar lessons for yourself, a friend or a relative, I cannot recommend Troy highly enough. I began taking lessons from Troy in middle school and at the time I was a true novice in all areas of music. Troy not only taught me the technical areas of guitar, he taught me how to be creative and how to appreciate music. I will be attending Berklee college of music next year for Guitar and I have Troy to thank for getting me into the world of music. Troy inspired me to further myself in music as well as life. If you're looking for a true guitar teacher, mentor and friend. You've come to the right man.
