We couldn’t be happier with our floors!!!Gary and his helper installed approximately 1,000 square feet of short leaf acacia in 3 days plus 1 day of hard demolition which included carpet removal, vinyl floor removal, and staple removal from subfloors. Pricing was fair and reasonable. Quality of installation is top notch! Gary was very personable and knowledgeable about floor installation. His years of expertise is apparent in his consultation( 3 plus decades)! One aspect of the consultation that my husband appreciated was that Gary suggested that the floor needed to run opposite of the wooden ceiling beams in the basement in order to avoid problems in the future and maximum support. This was an oversight not mentioned by other contractors( we were told by others that we could run the floor anyway we like) and we prefer transparency rather than “give the client any and everything” and then end up dealing with problems in the future. Do not hesitate to work with Gary! You will not be sorry and he is someone who you will be working with for future projects, trust me.

I HIGHLY recommend Gary and his company for flooring removal and install. I contacted Gary over a weekend after a DIY project went beyond my skill set. He removed both carpet and glue-down engineered hardwoods, and ultimately laid down new engineered hardwoods on a concrete subfloor. He made an appointment for an estimate at my first availability, gave a professional and fair estimate, explained the timeline for the project, and got me on his books within the next week to begin work. He was punctual for start of work and finished even earlier than expected. The room was spotless when he finished. My floors look amazing, and I already have neighbors asking for his contact information. I look forward to working with him on future projects.

Hired to install ceramic tile flooring in basement. Great communication, extremely fair pricing, and timely and high quality work. I especially appreciate the communications before, during and upon completion. Very responsive to follow up, etc. Would absolutely hire again and would highly recommend. We called Gary to get a second opinion about a problem we were seeing with a newly installed laminate floor in my sons condo that the other installers blamed us for. Gary assured us it wasn’t us and explained that they should have waited 24 hours before laying the floor after they poured concrete to replace what was broken up when the old floor was removed. The bottom of the flooring was soaking up the moisture from the wet concrete. He came in removed the floor that was ruined , sealed, used self leveling concrete, let the concrete dry then replaced the floor that was removed. He was so professional and a pleasure to have for a frustrating situation. Thank you Gary!

I provide free estimates and no hassle pricing. I believe my pricing is fair and it reflects the excellence in my quality of work!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Fortunately I have the same process for new as well as repeat customers: in order to give an accurate price I always do a free in home estimate. This way, I can be fair to both the customers and myself!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to vocational schools for my trade and I have been doing floors for over 30 years. I started when I was very young and realized I love changing people's homes for the better!
