This will be my second week working with Elin Personal Training Redefined. So far I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. I have worked with Gaurav over the past 3 years and during this time he not only introduced me to yoga but helped me cultivate a practice of my own. He is a patient instructor who pushes you but not beyond a comfortable pace. After learning from Gaurav I have realized that yoga is a complete mind body workout. I have never left a class feeling that I did not work my body hard. Gaurav has also been my nutrition guide over the past couple of years and has worked with me to improve the effects of PCOS. His 40 day plan helped me reset my body and allow my liver to detox while at the same time practiced moderation so i do not feel deprived. The plan helped me change my habits and get into the routine of making healthier choices food wise. With Gaurav's help my symptoms have greatly reduced and we continue to work on making my condition better by modifying the plan as need be. Overall my experience working with Gaurav has been extremely positive and has made me conscious of how important healing the body through yoga, exercise and nutrition is.

If I could give her 6 stars I would! I am a tennis teaching professional and my job is very physical. During the last few years I had been experiencing injury after injury which was taking all the enjoyment out of my work. Corey is actually one of my students and she encouraged me to try Yoga with her. I was skeptical at first and thought Yoga was for "other people ". I could not have been more wrong! After one session with Corey I could tell this is exactly what I needed. I have been working with Corey for the last 6 months and I feel 20 years younger! Corey is not only a fantastic Yogini. She is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in many schools of physical fitness. Like Pilates, Cross Fit, TRX?? She knows it all. Incredibly, her expertise does not stop there. Corey is also a walking repository of nutritional information. Going to Corey is a great value, she just knows so much and is so willing to help! In conclusion, the other thing I like and admire about Corey is that she practices what she preaches. She is in great shape and an athlete herself. As an athlete, that's important to me. I highly recommend you give her a try. You will be glad you did!!

As with any of your fitness goals you need to form habits that are going to help you get there. I trained with Matt for my first personal training experience. I went in knowing what I wanted to improve and work on, also hoping to get a better understanding of my body and how I can improve my lifestyle to make it a bit healthier. I was a bit nervous since I wasn't sure what to expect. I was thinking the worse like: he was going to be really hard and tough on me, make me feel anxious or awkward, or even not feeling comfortable at all. That was not the case! He was great! He has a wonderful character and is super nice. I felt very comfortable during the session which was one of the most important things for me. I can tell he knows exactly what he doing and is very knowledgeable which made me feel like I was in the right hands. Fitness seems like his passion and he keeps up on the latest nutritional research and news. He is also very aware of my goals which we are strongly working on, my habits, metabolic type, and physical abilities. Why did I wait so long to meet him and start training? It is so much more beneficial than going to the gym and doing the same old work out each time. He provides different techniques and settings each time which I loved! Ken is an intuitive, talented, and highly-motivating trainer. He helped me recover from limited mobility and injury issues related to a surgery. He modified exercises to give me confidence, directed my program to offer me the specific strengthening and flexibility I needed, and rapidly moved me from my limitations to my achievements, giving me the perfect training for my needs. I cannot recommend him enough. He is positive, inspiring, fun to work with but tough enough to mean business, and success-oriented.
Energy in Progress programs are suitable to all adult ages and levels of fitness. Teresa is incredibly knowledgeable and committed to customer success, but she also holds you accountable- two powerful elements to achieve meaningful changes in your personal wellness - whether that is weight loss, increased flexibility, core strength training, better balance or improved nutrition. I personally lost four dress sizes (from a 14 to an 8) and noticed terrific improvements in my stamina, balance and strength. Oh, and my stomach and arms are not nearly as flabby. Energy in Progress is worth the investment and I plan to continue in 2015.
