Chef Kev was amazing!! We were having a company summer party for 75 people and the menu he came up with for our Carnival theme was wonderful and creative! The food was delicious and Chef Kev was so helpful! We can't wait to use him again in the future!

Angie of Honey Do Wedding and Event Planners was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. She was affordable (especially for a student and military wedding) but always made us feel like her number one clients. Not only was she a great value, but she went over and above what we were expecting. We hired her to be our day of coordinator, but we met with her on a regular basis and she always responded to all calls, texts, and emails. Angie is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and has connections with various other wedding vendors. As a same sex couple, she never treated us any differently than an opposite-sex couple, and she actually was great at recognizing the subtle differences that come with having two brides. At our first meeting at a potential venue, Angie came prepared with examples of her work and binder with all of our info. She even printed out new forms that said bride and bride instead of bride and groom. These small but significant touches are what make Angie stand out among other wedding planners. She helped us negotiate with vendors to get better prices and confirmed all vendors the week of, lifting a lot of the stress off of our shoulders. We can't speak highly enough of Angie and the Honey Do family!
Dianna and her team made the whole process seamless from determining the best catering package to meet our needs to delivery and staging. In addition, their catering offerings were piping hot, delicious and truly enjoyed by all of our departmental meeting attendees. Would definitely recommend their services!
I used MJM Events to bartend for a recent large shower I hosted for my daughter and they were excellent in all phases from pre-party planning and beginning with signature drink selection and providing shopping lists. Mary was fantastic to work with - she arrived early to set-up and even brought extra equipment in case we also may have needed additional items for the food service aspect. Due to inclement weather people arrived later and stayed later and Mary stayed an hour later than she was scheduled to and was so helpful with flawless execution from beginning to end. My party was a huge success with the help of MJM Events so I highly recommend this company and I'll definitely use them and and Mary again!
Planning for a West Point graduation is like planning a destination wedding for royalty. The weeklong pomp and ceremony of the cadets graduation and commissioning as an army officer on a highly secure and secluded army base requires months of planning. Some plan a year out. Booking hotels, helping guests navigate the campus, getting on and off base and through security check points, transportation to West Point and then around campus and town, planning for meals, seating at events, securing a spot for the commissioning ceremony, is not for the faint at heart or for amateurs. I hired a professional wedding and party planner. She booked lodging and reception hall, secured transportation service to and from post, arranged for breakfast food and snacks during commute to post, meals to be delivered to post for commissioning ceremony and food for our private reception back at the hotel. She had maps and program booklets with details of the events of the day and activities during free time. She thought of it all and executed it without a hitch. Meanwhile, I was able to enjoy the festivities of my son’s graduation and commissioning and enjoy the company of my guests. It was a memorable occasion. Morgan is unbelievably talented. We hired her for my 3 year old's birthday party. Her balloons were amazing. She even came equipped with Avengers designs to fit our theme. It was a really thoughtful preparation. Both the parents and kids at my sons party were blown away. She was also great with the kids, of which there were about 15 from age 2 to 12. I've had multiple parents from the party reach out to me to get her contact information for a future event. She made our party a huge success!
Where to begin? At first I was extremely against hiring a day of coordinator as I was convinced I did not need one. I was EXTREMELY wrong! I could now not imagine my wedding without Trina and her team. Trina is extremely organized, easy to communicate with, and thought of details that I would’ve have overlooked but ended up being so important the day of. Trina offered advice, helped me to make decisions, and used her wealth of knowledge to help me visualize that I wanted my wedding to look like. There was not a question that Trina did not know the answer to. Trina and her team were fantastic. Before the wedding she triple checked everything with me and my husband, called and confirmed with all of my vendors, and communicated with other important members of our bridal party about their role. During our rehearsal she clearly communicated expectations for the day of with all of my very large bridal party and helped everyone feel comfortable with their role in the wedding. Everyone was complimenting her and her team’s efforts throughout the night. She and her team were always one step ahead of any potential problems or disasters, intercepted any issues so that I did have to deal with them, and paid close attention to detail. The best part of working with Trina was that I was able to have a worry free evening with my guests and was able to enjoy my wedding. I knew that Trina had everything handled. One of the many reasons why my husband and I decided to hire Trina over other vendors that we interviewed was because of her professionalism, knowledge, and experience. Trina and her team worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure that everything went according to plan. She and her team were constantly present during the night to ensure that we were calm and comfortable, communicate with other vendors, guests, and me to ensure that our day went as planned. She set up the reception space beautifully and wrangled my guests (and groomsmen) to where they were expected to be throughout the day so that we could stick to our proposed timeline. Trina was there to reassure me, hide me and my bridesmaids away from the groomsmen and groom, ensure that our ceremony music and order ran smoothly, and even made sure that the train on my dress was picture perfect before I walked down the aisle. At the end of the night Trina and her team had everything packed away and stored for us to easily transport home. My husband and I were dreading the clean-up process by Trina already had it handled. I cannot communicate how thankful I am that I decided to work with such a wonderful day of coordinator and her team. If you are on the fence or unsure of whether you need a day or coordinator or wedding planner in general, just do it! Trina and her team are phenomenal are our day was seamless because of her and her team’s effort. We would hire her and her team again in a heartbeat and heartily recommend them to anyone in the need of a coordinator. Thank you so much!
Words can't express the work Jackie put in to make my daughter's 1st birthday a very special day. She transformed a simple church hall into a beautiful room, fit for a little princess. All my guests are still talking about the decoration. Jackie is an amazing person at heart. She made me feel like I have known her all my life. Lisa is a down-to-earth creative party planner, who offers creativity and pragmatism all at the same time. She will make suggestions, and help you remember details, but is not pushy about it. She will help you throw the party you want. I hired her only to help with the actual party itself, and not with the planning. Then, we encountered a delinquent hotel event coordinator who wouldn't respond to my requests or provide any assistance, and Lisa ended up mostly taking over to get things done, and done right. She is all about the details, so you don't have to be. Lisa was a life saver!
Kimberly Jackson did a wonderful job with my 50th Birthday party. Everything was very tackfully done. Her ideas were really outstanding. Not only was the party a success, she was a very charming person to work with. We are planning to use Ms. Jackson again in the near future.
Wow! is all I can say. Vanessa is calm and professional. She gives extreme attention to detail and that is what is needed to plan a successful party for 100 guests. She was able to bring our ideas to life. Vanessa is an incredible party planner and I highly recommend her.
Guests were completely thrilled with their arrival gift bags, and helpful tips for getting around town. Ceremony was beautiful, and well thought out, and we received so many compliments on the event. This was my first time hiring a party planner for my son who is 7. Ms keisha was very sweet and understanding and patient and my sons party turned out fabulous and Affinity One events really made his party magical....and the decor was very creative and just what I wanted and very reasonable my son was sooooo siked when he seen his Superman theme and all the games but his favorite was the cool custom made CANDY BAR (a table full of delicious candy) I will definitely hire Affinity One Events again for my next party....
