I met Jen and her glam squad about one month before our winter wedding in February 6, 2016. Jen and her team did an amazing job at the trial and had a lot of suggestions on the wedding/bridal look I wanted. My MOH and I went back and forth at the trial to get a look I desired. I ended up getting a 40s glam look with extensions and side swept curls. The days leading up to the wedding Jen was very prompt about making sure the hair and makeup for all my friends and parents were accounted for and the look and style I wanted them to have. She even asked what color dresses they were wearing so she could match eye shadow colors. I loved this attention to detail and professionalism. I reviewed the detailed contract, outlining all the services (hair and makeup specifics) for each member of my bridal party (7) the week of the wedding and we made changes as necessary. Jen was very flexible with last minute changes also, since I wanted my bridal party to have the final say on their hair and makeup. The day of the wedding Jen arrived on time and directed all 7 of us as needed to stick to our timeline. Overall, Jen and her team were a pleasure to work with and is highly recommend them to make you beautiful for you wedding.

Hire them now!! I can not even describe how perfect our experience with Maribel and her team! First off, Maribel and Noel were perfect right from the beginning. When I was planning I was having a hard time hearing back from vendors, but Maribel emailed at a quick pace and even gave me a personalized quote right from the beginning! At the tasting they not only provided an amazing experience with PERFECT food, they also wanted to get to know us better and told us about them. It was like having an amazing lunch with friends. They provided a TON of stuff for free or at the best cost around. We told them our colors and they ran with it. Communication with them was always quick and easy which is a blessing to a bride! Now at the wedding they made the space absolutely beautiful. I didn't tell them anything but colors and they brought so many decorations and made the space better than what I would have imagined and I didn't have to think twice about it! Since getting back we have been talking about our wedding with people and the first thing people talk about was the food. It was INCREDIBLE! Every person I've talked to actually got seconds at our wedding and the kids had a personalized kids meal! They also made sure we were served first and we had the food from the cocktail hour they saved from us, a beautiful salad, and our dinner! They made sure that we got to eat the food we paid for! We ate the left overs the next day and it was just s amazing! The team of server that they had with them were so professional and amazing. We are friends with people in the hotel banquet business, even my husband is a server, and we were all blown away by the staff. We also had a different business do our dessert and was going to charge us a cutting fee, but Maribel and her team cut our pies for free and even served them to our guest without anyone asking! Maribel and Noel are extremely kind people who are professional, excellent, and amazing people. Their team is quick and professional. We even got an email from our venue about how incredible they are! DO yourself a favor and contact them now, and you are ensured a delicious meal from incredible, professional people! Angie of Honey Do Wedding and Event Planners was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. She was affordable (especially for a student and military wedding) but always made us feel like her number one clients. Not only was she a great value, but she went over and above what we were expecting. We hired her to be our day of coordinator, but we met with her on a regular basis and she always responded to all calls, texts, and emails. Angie is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and has connections with various other wedding vendors. As a same sex couple, she never treated us any differently than an opposite-sex couple, and she actually was great at recognizing the subtle differences that come with having two brides. At our first meeting at a potential venue, Angie came prepared with examples of her work and binder with all of our info. She even printed out new forms that said bride and bride instead of bride and groom. These small but significant touches are what make Angie stand out among other wedding planners. She helped us negotiate with vendors to get better prices and confirmed all vendors the week of, lifting a lot of the stress off of our shoulders. We can't speak highly enough of Angie and the Honey Do family!

Tanya is amazing! If you are looking for make up & hair styles for you & your Bridesmaids, Flower girls, Mothers this is your pro! She went out of her way to come to our home to do a make up & hair trial. We knew right away she was perfect! I got some hair extensions prior to the wedding, the day of the Wedding a lot was chaotic but now our hair & make up :) It went amazingly smooth & we all looked beautiful! Tanya stayed with me for the whole wedding & even fixed my hair & make up for the photos at the Chapel. My only regret is that she couldn't attend our reception because she had another Wedding the next day. Tanya is passionate about her work & if I need my hair & make up done again she is my girl! Teresa catered my parent's 50th wedding anniversary party. She utilized our Kentucky Derby theme, and provided preview recipes of all dishes served. Communication was excellent. She arrived with her staff on time, and left no cleanup. Dishes were tasty and elegantly served. I would highly recommend Teresa to others in the Virginia area.

Fairy Godmother Events is a godsend! Kadzo is highly professional and worked within my budget to plan the decorations and lighting for my "rustic-chic" barn wedding next April. Thanks to Kadzo's dedication, she was able to custom-build a decoration package that incorporated some of my own DIY elements, fit my tight budget, and offered day of wedding coordination and decorating services. Other event planning services just flat out told me that it was impossible to fit the budget that I had set aside, but FGE did what nobody else could. FGE truly goes above and beyond for their clients!

Hands Down, the Color Fairy is one of the best MUAs! She recently did my makeup and for a few of the bridal party for my wedding ceremony. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. First of all, she traveled 300 miles to help make my day perfect! Due to the distance, consultations were by phone. I described my vision and we exchanged pics and looks. I opted out for trials because we all including bridal party lived in different states. I was sold with her professionalism, her knowledge and her listening ear. I trust(ed) her work and ideas and I cannot thank her enough. On the day of the wedding, she made the getting ready process really fun and comfortable. She has a sweet spirit that kept me calm. I was treated as royalty! I absolutely loved the make-up, the quality, the colors, the lashes and I looked and felt amazing.... and I loved seeing my girls so excited with their looks too.
