About this pro
Working with Kevin was a wonderful experience. I was faced with a time crunch and Kevin delivered ahead of the projected time frame. Coming from a DNP student, he is worth the time and money! My dissertation is now complete.Jul 27, 2018Verified
Very cooperative and works closely with the author to improve the grammar and structure of an historical study. I believe Mr. Kohler has been very professional in his attitude and work practices. I look forward to seeing a very improved manuscript.Jun 18, 2018Verified
Mr. Kohler responded quickly and reviewed my project with skill and efficiency. I would request his help with future projects and I am confident that with his review/edits I will land an upcoming job opportunity.May 10, 2018Verified
Kevin did an excellent job on my Nursing dissertation. He had excellent turn around time, competitive pricing and top quality work!Nov 28, 2017VerifiedKevin K.'s reply
Natasha's well-written dissertation on how hospital staff have cared for mothers of still borns over the years was a pleasure to read and purge of errors. Truly a dissertation that will help its field, I will remember it for a long time and was honored to assist with it.
Kevin is easy to work with and has prompt responses back on work that you send him. I would highly recommend him to family, friends and co-workers.Apr 17, 2017VerifiedKevin K.'s reply
LOL. That would be just Chief Editing Officer. Bad grammar stops here.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I use the Editorial Freelancer's Association rates as my basis. Please Google this or ask me, as Thumbtack isn't allowing a URL here.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I talk to a customer on the phone and invest a good bit of time (often an hour or more) to determine what the client's goals are and ensure I'm a good fit. I find a lot of my clients like that I will often start by editing for an hour, working on random pages throughout the manuscript, before being hired for the entire job. This allows me to determine a legitimate page per hour rate based on their copy and go from an hourly fee to a solid estimate or fixed fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Masters of Arts in Teaching, Secondary English, magna cum laude, Johns Hopkins University (currently #1 in the nation for Education programs), magna cum laude B.A. in Mass Communications and English (double major), magna cum laude, Salisbury State University A.A. in General Studies, magna cum laude, Anne Arundel Community College (I eventually taught English there as a professor) I have more than 20 years of publications experience as well, particularly with magazine work.
