If you are on the fence about trying reiki, then you should try reiki - and you should definitely do so with Luciano. Luciano is a healer and this is evident in the way he presents himself and interacts with his clients. I am in the healthcare field professionally, teach yoga, and have tried many alternative treatments to help me heal myself over the years including yoga, meditation, acupuncture, and rolfing. While I have enjoyed and felt periodic relief physically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually from these things - I feel that they only treated the symptoms of a larger issue, an issue I was unable to identify alone. I really had no expectations when trying reiki for the first time. I didn't really understand what is was, what it would do for me, or if I really believed it would help me. I am going through a lot of very complex things in my life right now with frequent job changes, physiological symptoms that have led to many frustrating and scary medical testing and procedures, and the death of a parent. In my first visit with Luciano in a little over an hour, he was able to help me identify what it is within me that is manifesting this chaos in my life. He then gave me instruction on what I have to do to fix it. He explained that while he can assist me with balancing my chakras and energy during reiki, I have to do the work outside of these sessions to maintain my balance, let go of the things that are causing my issues, and help heal myself to experience and permanent positive change and resolution of all of these issues. He is not interested in seeing clients over and over and over again and in fact stated this quite clearly - he is a facilitator to help you identify what's going on and assist you with your healing and will do this in as few sessions as needed or more frequently if needed. It is clear he values the quality of his work and helping people change their lives over trying to solely make a profit on them. He spent two and half hours with me my first session. He was kind and compassionate. He listened as I unexpectedly cried in front of him, yet he was firm in telling me what I needed to do to heal myself. The experience I had during the actual balancing / energy work part of the session was out of this world. When he worked on the area that was out of balance for me, I truly felt things energetically that I have never experienced in my life. I am convinced that Luciano is the real deal when it comes to being a true healing fulfilling his purpose, and that I am working with him for a reason. I think most people would benefit from reiki, but more optimally when they are able to recognize that they need a change and are ready to make it. If you are reading this then you have probably been online searching. Searching for reiki, for healing, for something that will make a difference in your life. Stop looking. Open your mind and your heart and call Luciano.
I had an absolutely wonderful Reiki experience with Cynthia. I had never tried Reiki before. A friend had suggested it and I heard back from Cynthia on Thumbtack the same day. As I had never tried Reiki before, we sat and talked a bit about it first. He has a very kind and calming disposition and welcomed questions and concerns. I felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole session. (I have chronic pain from spinal problems and she went through three pillow combinations to get my legs to a comfortable height for me) I went into it not expecting too much (also not wanting to create a placebo effect), kind of the mindset of getting a massage or generic acupuncture. (Hope I'm not building up your placebo effect too much) When I got home I realized how calm and just...balanced/level headed I felt. I'm a mind racing, anxious, weight of the world on my shoulders person who is sometimes paralyzed by over thinking. I was able to lay in bed and just sink in and relax. My pain was still there (my sciatic nerve is glued in place, after all), but it wasn't nagging and draining on my mind as usual. This carried on for over a week and I was absolutely floored. I'm a very science minded person (getting my MS right now) and I kept going to all my friends and saying "I know this isn't everyone's thing, but I can't believe how amazing I feel!" Cynthia had suggested I start a dream journal and in the three weeks since I've had very vivid dreams that I've been able to recall far past immediately waking up. I was so happy and enthused by the results that I'm joining her Reiki I class coming up. From a natural skeptic, I 💯 recommend you give it a try and believe, no matter what, Cynthia will certainly make you feel comfortable and cared for in that hour. She definitely has a gift and I was very grateful that she shared it with me and am looking forward to learning from her, and stopping in for tune ups ;-)
I had a very good experience there. I'm impressed by the beauty environment and the threatment session. Absolutely got more than I expected, given the good price. My neck pain was noticeably decreased after first visit. I will go back for more sessions, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs acupuncture treatment.

Fantastic first session. Really relaxed, comfortable environment. Everything was explained before the treatment and nothing was unexpected. Great results.

Two years ago I started treatment with Martha for anxiety/depression issues and a life that felt too constricted. During this time Ive been able to stay off medication and to try dance and yoga classes that have been a joy. Beyond this, I have gained an understanding of Five Element theory that has guided my approach to each season. Martha is a compassionate and intuitive healer who uses acupuncture but also herbs, stones, and real listening with patients who heal and grow due to her care.

I run an acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) wellness practice, specializing in Women's health and fertility treatments. My program has an above-average success rate of over 80% in the treatment of infertility stemming from various imbalances. Acupuncture and TCM help to balance hormonal systems, increase blood flow, and reduce stress and anxiety. The body wants to be healthy and balanced. It strives towards health. Symptoms arise to show us what is out of place or needs attention, and using these ancient and effective techniques of acupuncture (inserting hair-thin needles into specific points along the meridian systems), herbs, and lifestyle coaching, we encourage the body back into its natural state of health.
We offer traditional Chinese acupuncture, facial rejuvenation acupuncture and sports acupuncture for stress relief, pain management, body balancing, weight management, anxiety and depression relief, and migraine and body pain relief, allowing patients to feel relaxed, rejuvenated and peaceful.
My practice specializes in internal medicine, women's health, chronic pain, and cancer support. Acupuncture at Home looks to bring acupuncture affordably to the homebound, elderly, busy parents, executives and those in debilitating pain. While health care, even holistic options, has become more "efficient" and "streamlined," I believe that healing can't always be accomplished on a schedule and can't be divorced from the time a practitioner spends with his/her patient. I have therefore structured both office hours and house calls into my practice in Northwest Baltimore. I have been in practice in New York for 5 years and have recently moved to Baltimore with my family. I have successfully treated musculoskeletal issues, stress-related disorders, impotence, migraines, severe back pain, seasonal allergies and more. I do not accept insurance, but I will provide documentation for clients to submit to their insurance. I keep my fees comparable with a typical out-of-pocket specialist co-pay. Abraham Finkelstein, MS LAc, is an MD and NY licensed acupuncturist with a master's degree in traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture.
