About

My first visit to the Baltimore Wellness Acupuncture was about six years ago. I had an ACL reconstruction surgery on my right knee. The surgery went well, but swelling did not go away. I could not bend my knee without feeling pain. Anti-inflammatory pills didn't help. Friend of mine suggested to do the acupuncture treatment at the Baltimore Wellness Acupuncture. At first, I was very skeptical and didn't believe that treatment would help to get rid of the swelling, but decided to give it a try. The acupuncturist Alina Betsis did her magic and after the first visit I was able to bend my knee without pain. Of course, I came for the second time. After a full course of treatment my knee healed. It was the amazing experience. It totally changed my view on acupuncture. Now I know that acupuncture works, especially if your acupuncturist is Alina. She is very knowledgeable and always warm and friendly. She is also great about working with insurance. Just recently I went for a rotator cuff injury and came out feeling a million percent better.

About

There are so many traditions and variations of acupuncture, and so much that comes under the scope of practicing Chinese medicine, that every practitioner can provide a completely different experience and still effectively address the same issues. On top of trying to bring as much immediate relief as possible, my focus is on helping people improve the quality of their lives, while learning what practices they can do on their own so they don't need to permanently rely on me or any other practitioner. I love getting to know people and being someone they can talk to about anything, knowing I will do my best to help. I am able to provide a perspective on the full range of a person's life, even if the way we get into that is around a specific health concern.

I was completely comfortable with my overall treatment. Very peaceful and relief was felt during my treatment. Michele cared more for me than others have had before, during, and even a follow up email to offer and assistance if I needed more. I am a traveler and finding a great provider one can trust is very hard. I would recommend her for your needs any day.

About

Would you like to begin your path to wellness today? Acupuncture is the oldest, most commonly practiced medical modality in existence. It's used by one-third of the world for their fundamental health care. Acupuncture offers a system of healing that smoothly and powerfully works to restore wellness and balance in the body. You'll know when your mind, body or spirit is out of balance because you'll experience signs and symptoms, such as anxiety, headaches, nausea, pain, or difficulty in sleeping, just to name a few. One of the gifts of acupuncture is the awakening of your observer to concentrate on what your whole self is telling you.

About

I offer acupuncture for dogs, cats, horses, and people in the Severna Park, MD and Maryland Eastern Shore areas. With people, I specialize in relieving chronic pain. Acupuncture can help for so many things; it's too long to list here. Basically, if you or your pet have a long-term, chronic condition, acupuncture can cure it, put it in remission or at least help to control it. The most common issues I treat for are pain-related, like arthritis, back pain, and neck pain. However, so much more can be helped: * In people - depression, anxiety, loads more * In dogs - loss of hind end use, aggression, loads more * Horses - keeping them sound and ridable, laminitis, navicular, loads more * Cats - pain, grief, not using the litter box, loads more. Check out my website for more information. My clients and patients love the gentleness and effectiveness of acupuncture. There are no side effects, and it is very safe. I love what I do because I get to witness miracles on a daily basis!
