Chris was such a wonderful teacher. Not only was he friendly but also understanding and really met me where I was in my beginner skill set. I have absolutely no background in playing music but Chris was able to break it down for me in a way were not only did I absorb it but I was also excited to learn more and practice afterwards. He was extremely respectful, warm and understanding teacher. I recommend him and love his approach and energy. After the first lesson he gave me homework based on my specific needs. I can't say enough good things about him. If you're looking for an amazingly talented bass instructor Chris is the real deal.Jan 6, 2016Verified

I've worked with Chris as a fellow musician for years, as well as studying with him. He is a wonderful bassist, a thoughtful communicator, a very knowledgeable musician, and a delightful person to work with. I'd recommend Chris to anyone.Feb 26, 2016

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I always make sure that I am taking lessons from another bass player in the area to keep myself constantly growing as a musician from not only a musical standpoint, but also from an academic standpoint.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I decided to become a musician because it allowed me to relate to other people in an entirely new way, outside our regular methods of communication as human beings. Music taught me how to only only be expressive, but also taught (and is still teaching) me how to let others be expressive as well. In short, music taught me how to listen.
