Introduction: I provide private or small group training sessions. My focus is on strength training and mobility which I focus on safe, functional movements. The result of my training is to trim fat, tone muscle mass and increase endurance. Whether you have been sedentary for a period of time, needing support or prefer the additional accountability of one-on-one attention, I can help get you in the best shape of your life. I have been a certified CrossFit trainer for over 2 years coaching at Nevermore CrossFit located in Bare Hills Racquet & Fitness Club. I am also Mobility Certified teaching Mobility classes at Clipper City CrossFit in Hamden. My own practice includes olympic weightlifting, speed training, yoga and I CrossFit about 5 times a week. I use all these domains of fitness to create a program to fit your individual fitness needs. I have a broad range of clients, from the athlete to the beginner. My oldest client is 86! I train either out of your home or have access to a CrossFit gym. Also, you can cut training costs by adding a friend to your sessions; it is certain to add a little friendly competition to your workouts. This is my passion, I love getting to know my clients and watch them become a healthier, stronger version of themselves. It is never to late when it comes to taking care of your body and your overall health, make it a priority in 2015!

I loved working with Julia! I loved that each day our WOD was different and she altered it for my specific level - I was able to see an increase in my endurance, strenght and overall feel. I left every session feeling good about myself and Julia always was on point to push me and motivate me! I wish I still lived in the area and could have continued my training sessions w/her - she was amazing and if anyone is looking to transform their physique and work outs, Julia will help you achieve all that you want!

Julia tailors each workout to my specific needs (torn rotator cuff, arthritis in one hip etc). She is open to suggestions, can push me or back off as she sees my condition on any given day. She is wonderful.

Dedicated professional with all ages. My experience has been over one year. Julia is flexible, in many ways!. I have learned to stretch this old body, do weights appropriate for me, beginner yoga is the best. I am strong, fit & healthy and continue to be. With Julia's work and nutritional advice I have lost 71 pounds!! She is a blessing. Use her.

Julia is an amazing teacher! I started working with Julia about 2 years ago and was battling some really challenging joint issues and was reluctant to get into weight training. I have come leaps and bounds from where I first started and have felt that Julia pushes me to what I am capable of while being aware of my limitations. The workouts are fun, empowering and have shown me that I am capable of so much more than I ever thought. This is coming from someone who could hardly do 1 burpee and now can do 60- what!!!! If you want a challenge and to see results while working in a positive atmosphere Julia is it!
