My neighbor and I contracted Peter Forbes to completely rebuild the brick steps in front of our duplex homes as well as refurbishing the slate sidewalks and front porches. The job also involved resolving drainage issues and Peter did a good job of understanding and overseeing the total scope of the project. He accurately predicted the total cost and kept the job on budget and within the estimated time frame of 8 weeks. His skills as a mason and bricklayer were a good match for the type of work we needed done. Peter is a punctual, multi-skilled and conscientious hard worker who is communicative and easy to get along with, and he is more than willing to address your concerns throughout the project. My neighbor and I are both very satisfied with the work done and would gladly recommend Peter Forbes Contracting.

Peter has done work on my house on several occasions, and my wife and I are always impressed with his professionalism and quality of the work that he performs. The first job he did for us involved him completely renovating a side room in our house, which initially left much to be desired. When Peter was done, the room had recessed lighting and a beautiful slate floor. I can easily say it's the nicest room in the house now! In addition, Peter has performed concrete work for us, that resulted in a sturdy and well constructed sidewalk we use on a daily basis. Last but not least, he has also completed several large jobs at my late father's house which have resulted in completely transforming several rooms in his house. I would highly recommend Peter for any job whether it be small or large.

Peter with Forbes contracting replace my concrete steps in front of my house in Hampden that were beyond repair. We attend seminars on all new products that the local building supplier represents. I always attend the annual Home and Garden Show at Timonium State fairgrounds.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mother bought a 2 acre parcel of land in the mountains and had a cabin built. At the ripe age of 8 I was asked to help out. I loved it and recently purchased the cabin from my mother and continue to maintain it. I love that place because it was there that I fell in love with construction and carpentry.
