I have taken Gentle Yoga with Asya at Sun & Moon for years. When I heard that she was offering a more personalized therapeutic class, I jumped at the chance to address my particular problems -- back issues, bad knee, Morton's neuroma in my toes -- all things that made some yoga poses very challenging for me. It was wonderful to have her focus on my issues, and she helped me develop a personal practice to work on these things. Her gentle and encouraging voice, strong knowledge of anatomy, and inventive teaching style made it pleasurable as well as useful.

Delightful yoga studio. Delightful instructor. I was curious about yoga, but did not know how to get started. I asked her to do a beginners session in my home with my family for fun. Everyone enjoyed it. I then became an early Sunday morning regular at her study. 2 years later, my flexibility, strength and balance have reached a great state--one that I could not have imagined just a while back.

I scheduled private sessions with Olga for my low back and sciatica pain. Olga is extremely knowledgeable of the anatomy and geared our sessions to specifically address the areas causing my pain. Olga provided me with stretches and moves to do at home, which is crucial in order to have a successful outcome. These exercises have become part of my daily routine. Olga would always stress the importance of proper form and would ensure my understanding. She is a true professional in every sense of the word, and has helped me immensely. I have expressed to my doctor how much the One-on One experience with Yoga has eliminated my need for pain medication. I have and will continue to encourage others to consider the Yoga with Olga to help improve their aches and pains. I still have chronic pain from time to time, but Olga has given me the tools to help. This was the best money I ever spent to improve my quality of living.

Selene's yoga session was great. I felt like I learned so much just from one session about how to do each pose correctly and how to modify poses in a beneficial way when you're not totally there yet. Selene's vibe is accepting, warm and encouraging & I didn't feel pressured to do everything perfectly. At the end of our session I felt rejuvinated in mind, body & spirit. Highly recommend!!

Kristen was charged with the task of leading a yoga class for a college basketball team. This was mandatory and most of the players had never done or had any interest in doing yoga. Kristen successfully engaged the group on a weekly basis for 4 months and made the team enjoy their sessions. She was able to work on sport specific movements and overall flexibility. Kristen also took a genuine interest in the group and became a member of our family.

    Rooz is a very friendly and engaging instructor. He did a community class for me and 10 of my friends on the rooftop of my building. He was very mindful to ask about any injuries or conditions before practice in order to offer adjustments and variations and he also asked if there were specific parts of the body that we'd like to focus our practice on. His music was on point and he offered different versions of many poses for those who wanted more or less of a challenge. I would highly recommend Rooz again!

    As someone with chronic back pain and a high stress job I cant say enough good things about my private yoga sessions. Valerie's deep knowledge of kinetics, mindfulness, and anatomy have been invaluable in my learning to deal with chronic pain and how to live alongside of it instead of retreating in fear of it. I have had increases in flexibility, awareness and mindfulness since beginning the class and look forward to learning more weekly. Valerie's intuitiveness and willingness to share her knowledge allows us to explore many topics in class while still expanding upon the breadth of the practice. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about yoga, but especially those that may be intimidated by a class or for safety reasons need a more watchful eye.

I am a 220 Hr KRI internationally certified kundalini yoga teacher who loves to share this sacred science and practice with those who are seeking peace of mind, a new experience or an in depth class filled with yogic knowledge. Kundalini yoga is the "Yoga of Awareness". In each class, we focus on our pranayam (breathe), the asanas (yoga poses) and a meditation. I believe that yoga can heal the world and elevate our consciousness so that we can live our lives feeling empowered, tranquil and harmonious. Horseback riding: I have implemented yogic techniques while instructing horse-backriding lessons and have taught yoga and riding to people of all ages and levels of experience. I have been riding horses for pleasure for over 15 years and primarily teach English lessons (Hunter and Equitation). I used to ride for the University of South Florida equestrian team and I love working with kids because riding helps to build confidence, trust and focus (amongst many other excellent character traits).
