- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?The Owner of M.A. Services, Marvin Allsup has a Degree from The University of Maryland University College (UMUC) in Cybersecurity. He also holds many Information Technology (IT) certifications. He currently holds CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and Linux+ certifications.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?In 2001 Marvin started working for the largest commercial moving company in the country as a mover and I quickly moved up the ranks to become a move supervisor in only two months. Leading crews for government agencies, law firms, schools, and Fortune 500 companies. In 2003 the company started a new division, The Special Services division. This division needed to be able to complete multiple task and services. Everything from Information Technology, Furniture assembly and installing, and Moving Services to name a few. After working in the newly created division for five years working his way to a project manager Marvin was given the opportunity to lead the division as the Operation Manager. In this role, Marvin leads over 30 people while growing the division. In 2014 M.A. Services was started offering the same services I spent time learning for 13 years to commercial and residential clients.
