Introduction: Firstly, I am Certified Council of Professional Dog Trainers: Knowledge Assessed. I have an exceptional ability to interpret the subtle cues and body language of dogs. An important part of providing a great service is tuning into what your pet partner is trying to communicate. Many of my clients express frustration, because they don't know how to get their dog to understand what they want! These breakdowns in communication are easy to fix if you hire a highly trained professional who is tuned into the nonverbal cues that dogs give. Once you know what to look for, communicating with your pet partner is easy! I also place a great deal of emphasis on educating pet parents on what methods I am using to train their dog and why. It doesn't matter how skilled a dog trainer is if they are not good at communicating with their human customers! It is important to explain the rationale behind each technique so that pet parents can continue to use them after our time together ends. Ultimately, I am invested in providing quality, long-lasting results for you and your dog while making the experience fun, interactive and low pressure. The best part of my day is getting to see how excited the dogs become when they learn something new. Dogs love to please, and I love witnessing a stronger bond of trust and communication form between pet parents and their dogs! It is also rewarding to know that I am providing my clients with peace of mind.

Curt is an extremely professional and personable trainer. My two dogs absolutely love him and he saved my sanity by training me on how to be a more effective dog owner. He sincerely understands the impact of positive reinforcement and I highly recommend him to anyone who requires help in dog training.

Curtis has been helping me train my two rescue pit bulls (13 mos old, brothers); he is a fantastic, patient, and caring trainer. I love that he stresses positive reinforcement. My dogs respond very well to his calm energy, and each lesson they are so engaged and want to learn. I'm actually surprised at how fast they are learning. I guess I have to figure out how much I want them to learn now!

Literally amazing!! My kitten has been driving me crazy with his inappropriate urination and Curtis helped me understand the causes for this behavior. He offered valuable insight, provided suggestions on how to modify those behaviors, and how to better connect with my furbaby. I really appreciated his knowledge, professionalism, and empathy.
