The service was great. I needed an outlet panel switch replaced and all of my smoke detector wiring inspected. He was able to listen carefully to my issues, diagnose and repair the problem quickly. Very professional. Would recommend for sure.
My experience with Joey @ JLS was excellent. Earlier efforts by other electricians to solve my problem were unsuccessful. Joey found the problem within 5 minutes of starting to troubleshoot the issue. He also completed an unrelated repair in a jiffy. I will always call him for future work.
Stan of Demis Electric Service performed wonderful service for me and my husband. He squeezed us into his schedule (on the same day I requested help) to install a new main breaker that had been buzzing and sparking over the previous few days. Once he had the electric panel open, it was clear that the entire panel had to be replaced because some of the components had melted and more than one breaker was damaged (others were outdated and incompatible with the panel). He quoted a fair and reasonable price for the full panel replacement and was able to do it first thing the next morning at 8am and finished by 1:30pm. He helped us label some of the breakers that hadn't been labelled previously, he cleaned up his work area afterward, and he even disposed of our old panel himself when everything was finished. He arrived on time, was very kind and professional, his work was thorough, and he was honest. I highly recommend him to others and I won't hesitate to call him for any of my future residential electrical needs.
Mark had to figure out an electrical panel that was missmanged and mislabeled by another bad contractor, as well as finish the installation of appliances left undone by them. He did an outstanding job and put everything back together when I had lost hope of getting everything straightened out. Excellent!
We contacted Marvin about patching a hole in the drywall. He came out the same day to give us an estimate and sent one of his employee the next day to do the job. We cannot be more happy with the results. You cannot tell at all the wall had a hole it in and he added wood panels to reinforce the dry wall as well. He charged us exactly the amount that he quoted, which was very reasonable. We will definitely go to Marvin again for future jobs.
Sean Ryan installed an electrical outlet and a new electric panel and did an outstanding and very and professional job. He was also very prompt and on time.
Gary showed up within 24 hours (even during the snow storm) to help me out with my electrical panel. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will do business again for any electrical needs. A+++ service!
Greg was very responsive. He called back right away and took time to listen to what was wrong. He asked appropriate questions and scheduled the appt right away. Once he arrived, he took time to explain the problem and was able to fix it quickly. He helped educate me on small items that would help my HVAC system run more efficiently and possibly avoid future problems. Great experience for me! Thanks Greg - highly recommend him!
Faissel was very responsive, punctual, and assessed the electrical outages in my home clearly and efficiently. He used this beeping tool to test all the outlets. He even recommended that I use an extension cord to connect to the sump-pump in order to keep it powered during the rain. So I did so. He was very thorough in explaining to me the circuit breaker panel box status and what needed to be replaced and repaired. He also made me aware that I have several spaces for installing an other circuit breaker. Unfortunately, an electrical box was installed from a previous electrician in which I awaited for him to come back out all day yesterday. He never showed up and texted me a message that he was going out of town. Second assessments are good and in this case Faissel explained to the faulty electrical work done with corrective actions to get an upgraded MC cable installed and a 20 voltage circuit breaker installed which will allow adequate electrical power. I look forward to receiving Faissel's estimate and to the completion of having this electrical job done correctly and up to code!
Very professional, very helpful. I will definitely be using him again for future electrical projects.
Kevin came out as soon as possible on a weekend to inspect the electrical panel of a home we are selling. Very helpful, prompt and easy to work with.
I don't write many reviews, but I wanted to go out of my way to make sure to to write a detailed one for Yosif and Smart House Remodeling. I think I am uniquely qualified to give a very thorough review, as I hired Yosif and his team to do a basement renovation covering over 1,400 square feet. This was a big job, and below you can see some of the before and after photos from a few of the rooms. I'm a pretty particular client; I'm an engineer and pay attention to the details and quality of work that I get done and was very pleased with the outcome on this. I hired Yosif after getting approximately 8 (!) different bids for this job. So that shows you what he was up against. I think the typical experience with working with Yosif is likely as follows: you have him out for an estimate, he has some good ideas about the work that you may have not considered, he gives you a prompt estimate with very reasonable prices, and then you hire him to start the job. Once work is well underway, you realize you've got something really great going and then start creating new contracts to do all kinds of additional work with him--work that perhaps you've put off because you dreaded having to go through finding a quality contractor for each additional project. In my case, I started off with vinyl plank flooring over 1400 sq. feet (spot-leveling & demo needed), with some switch relocation and other electrical work (outlet additions, ceiling box), recessed lighting installation, and HVAC vent installations. By the end I had added significant drywall patching (including closing holes in attic), replacing a huge wood paneled room with all-new drywall, installed an attic ladder, replaced a rear door (including new framing & storm door install), repaired a front door, had a custom divider wall built to hide an HVAC unit, had soundproofing insulation put in, multiple in-wall access panels, minor plumbing, and I could honestly go on. I got an amazing amount done beyond what I originally though was possible for my budget. Yosif is careful to make sure that you are OK with the finished product on each phase of the work that is being done, and is willing to redo things that are not quite right. Each job is properly finished too, with the small things like priming on drywall (plenty skip this!), clean up, and material disposal. I found him very trustworthy as well and had no issue with him doing work at my home regardless of whether I was there or not, yet he was also respectful of my schedule. I would also consider him skilled at a very broad range of construction areas/topics, which if you've hired a number of contractors before you probably know that is not always the case. Although I do want to note that I found his drywall work especially good. I don't think many people would assume that he has 10+ years of experience, but it shows in what he is capable of an his approach to solving the problems that you encounter (and you will always find something interesting when you start opening up walls!). In short, I would gladly recommend him without any reservations.
I've worked with Jose on 2 small projects so far. The first time, he helped me get my basement apartment in shape for a new tenant by painting the walls, fixing the shower, etc. Jose made some suggestions that made the job a little more expensive but were smart. For example, when switching out the shower faucet handles, he informed me that he needed to replace the "innards" if I wanted a longer lasting solution. That made sense to me. He then suggested we add turn off valves to the pipes and create an access panel so that it would be a snap to fix in the future. That also made sense to me. Sure, it cost a little more, but it will save me in the long run. Jose's team also did some electrical work for me, which was also very high quality. In short, I would hire him again in a second. He's reasonable, responsive(!), personable, and professional. What's not to like?
We had them install a switch and a transfer electrical panel to power our back up generator. Walter Electric was great - pricing was extremely reasonable and the service tech Bill was great - very professional - explained what needed to happen - did great work and then went over with me the proper procedure on how to to use the panel - no more dark days when we lose power. Walter is the best!!!
Matt, a service manager from Bailey and Shipp, came out to repair my generator that hadn't been running for a couple of years. He arrived on time and correctly diagnosed multiple issues, not just with the generator but also the electric panel. Each time something wasn't running properly, Matt's solution was right the first time. He was fast and knowledgeable. I would use Bailey and Shipping again.
Definitely a great experience with his services, very please with the quality of work, replaced my old panel in my house in Clinton MD and his prices was better compared with 3 companies l estimated!
They installed a ground mount system for me. A+ job from start to finish. Price, communication, scheduling, attention to detail and quality of materials used were excellent. I spoke with a few solar companies before finding National Solar. I felt NS was the best pick for all the right reasons. Glad I went with my gut instinct and choose them. My co-worker is having them install a roof system next week. Great company! Highly recommend.
I had a positive experience with SES. The relationship lasts quite a few months, as a solar install is a lengthy process involving a number of third parties. They walked me through each step in the process and explained how each item would go. My advice would be to ask a lot of questions, as there are several nuances to solar installs involving your utility, net metering, solar energy credits, tax credits and solar grants. While SES was able to answer all of my questions, in some cases, you do need to know to ask. It felt good to work with a local company that was competent and knowledgeable. It is a long process so I would advise patience - in the end, you'll be producing clean solar energy and saving on your monthly bill as well.
I am totally satisfied with my solar it was installed on time and the people are awesome. My salesman has been there from start to end and is all ways there when I have a question. The savings with the solar has been great....
