- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I come to you, and so long as you are within 20 miles of downtown Baltimore, the fee is $40. Please check local studios, you will find that my prices are extremely reasonable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to maintain my yoga alliance certification I am required to do a certain number of professional development activities throughout the year. My next professional development project is scheduled for April 10-12, 2015. Over this weekend I will get my certification to teach yoga in prisons through the Yoga Prison Project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As 22 years old, I began working as an in home autism care giver. My patients often violently attacked me, cursed at me, and still required my care and services, sometimes immediately after attacking me. I quickly realized that most people cannot do this type of work. Practicing yoga started as a way to deal with the stresses from my day job, but I quickly fell in love and realized the huge benefits of the practice. It was then that I decided to share the practice with others.
