Aquaguard Waterproofing "The Trusted Name in Waterproofing"
About this pro
I had someone call me late in the evening I was unable to answer the phone, as stated in the message between myself and the company I told them to leave and message and I would call them back as soon as I could. So fast forward to next morning I was able to call them back. A lady answers the phone and I ask for the gentleman who called me she tells me he is not available. I ask if there is someone else i can speak to, she tells me that they are extremely busy and she will have to take my name and number. I explain that i cant keep playing phone tag, that i am not able to always answer my phone at work. And i would like to speak to someone to schedule an estimate. She again tells me they are to busy and someone has to call me back. I then tell her I am busy as well, that their company is not the only ones busy. She begins to laugh at me. And said well i can look. She waited a few minutes someone picked up and hung up on me. Great customer service. I think i will go elsewhere since they are to busy for me.Jul 24, 2018Verified
This was not a one day and in done kind of job. This job started on a Thursday and concluded the following Monday. The workers really knew what they were doing and worked very hard. Their cleanup was impeccable and much appreciated. Only time will tell with regard to the work that was done as I am in a very heavily water concentrated area.Jul 20, 2017John B.'s reply
We appreciate the time our Aquaguard Waterproofing customer took to provide this review. The pictures look great especially the footer pictureshowing our ledge footing when it was determined this foundation had some foundation changes once the floor was opened. Thank you for being part of the Aquagauard Waterproofing team!
I found the wrong person to contact to fix something wrong in my home but he gave helpful advice/tips for me to find the right contractor. Thanks!! I give 5 stars!May 16, 2018Verified
After much confusion with the office we were greeted with a tech whom basically told us he had no idea how to resolve or even begin to resolve the issue. Not Good...Aug 16, 2017John B.'s reply
This is an anonymous review - we would like to reach out to this person and discuss the situation. All of our inspectors are thoroughly trained t handle all types of foundation repair and water problems. With 27 years in business we have seen and fixed 1000's of basements. I am sure there is more to this story, but it is so vague and random we have no other response. Thank you Gary Macdonald Manager Aquaguard Waterproofing
Straight-forward sales experience. Showed up on time, reviewed the problem, asked me what I ultimately wanted to accomplish as there were several ways to address the problem. Gave me advice and the knowledge I needed to make an informed decision and no hard-sales tactics like I experienced with another company! Would definitely use them again and recommend them.Jul 6, 2017Verified

- What types of customers have you worked with?Basements that have had water problems for years and the homeowner did who to call to fix it. Window wells leaking, stairwells flooding, sump pump failures and battery back-up pumps (for insurance if the power goes out).
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure the company that will fix your basement has been in business at least 10 years. Since you are buying a lifetime warranty - you want to make sure the compnay has been around during the dry summers, wet springs, during hurricane season and snowy winters. Ask the compnay to give you references from someone who has had work done over 7 years. Those are the homeonwers you want to talk to.
