Our nine-year-old system had multiple problem, some of which I was unaware, as they had been there since installation. Scott was persistent in discovering and resolving each one. At one point, all signs pointed to a faulty heat exchanger and he ordered a replacement. He then thoroughly examined the existing heat exchanger, found no problem and reinstalled it, declining to charge for his time spent on it. Our HVAC system now operates better than it ever had. Scott was professional and courteous throughout and meticulously cleaned his work area. I called him on a Sunday morning, expecting to leave a message. He answered the call after one ring. - What types of customers have you worked with?I provide spring and fall maintenance check-ups for your system so that you get the most life out of your hvac unit. Common problems are bad fuses, capacitors, leaks, motors, dirty filters that prevent proper air flow, which in turn, can freeze up your unit. Sometimes I have to add freon (R-22) to charge a system. The newest equipment now uses puron (R-410A).
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?I would ask for references and see how many people have positive things to say about me and my company. I'm also happy to answer any questions about the service I provide to help you feel comfortable about the decisions that need to be made about your system. I don't like high-pressure sales tactics and I won't do that to you. I'll make recommendations and suggestions so that you'll get the most out of your system. Feel free to ask me questions.
