We hired Dwayne as DJ and MC for our wedding ceremony in July 2015. We'd originally selected another DJ but requested to change to Dwayne after meeting him at a showcase and liking his energy.
Dwayne was very easy to work with and professional. We made a last minute modification to our first dance to be creative and fun and he executed it perfectly making our day very memorable for our guests.
My husband and I are from different cultural backgrounds, he's Irish and I'm Trinidadian, which translated to a very diverse group of guests. I felt that Dwayne stepped up to the challenge and played both current and old school/classic American music, but also captured my culture with calypso and soca. He also honored the song requests of our guests which made for wonderful photo opportunities and memories.
We were very pleased with our decision to work with Dwayne and would recommend his services to others.

I utilized The Sound Factory for my 20 year high school reunion in August 2015 (at the College Park Marriott and Conference Center). From the onset, Dwayne was the commensurate professional. Our initial communication consisted of him asking detailed questions about my event and providing me with a succinct estimate displaying everything that was included, down to the microphones and lighting that I requested. Additionally, he was one of the only DJs that I could find, who possessed the insurance requirements that this venue has. He arrived early, as communicated, and was set up prior to our guest's arrival. Although I had given him a play list and we were accepting requests, from each guest, as they entered - he was spot on, on the music selection. Everyone DANCED to their feet hurt. Moreover, during our program, he played the appropriate music to highlight the contents. Although our event was supposed to go until 11, the hotel allowed us some overtime and The Sound Factory accommodated this as well.
If you're looking for a professional, reliable and all around FANTASTIC DJ - I emphatically recommend that you to utilize the services of The Sound Factory!

Dwayne was our DJ for our September wedding. It was such an awesome time! He's professional, entertaining, fun and definitely NOT that annoying, radio-voice DJ that you sometimes get stuck listening to at someone's wedding. He followed our timeline and was spot on with playing the music and creating the exact vibe we were looking for. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away! He was even able to play these cool reggae-remixes that we found on YouTube! He also did the music for our ceremony and was on the spot with restarting a song when our ring-bearer decided he wasn't going to make it down the aisle in the necessary time. We highly recommend Dwayne and loved having him as the DJ for our wedding!

We started on our search to find an amazing DJ for our wedding and came across Dwayne. From the initial consultation to the execution the night of the wedding the attention to detail was impressive. He is everything that you would want in a DJ/MC. Dwayne provided our guests a night full of music, the dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT, and the guests raved about the great time that they had. The entire process was flawless.
