Introduction: My focus is making sure kids (and adults!) are feeling safe and having a great time. I use high quality, safe brands, such as Tag Body Art, Amerikan Body Art, and Mehron to ensure quality. I've painted faces done jagua mehndi, and done special effects makeup for the last 5 years, working for Six Flags America, the Bowie Center for Performing Arts, and doing private parties and events. What is Jagua Mehndi? • Jagua is super similar to henna, but it is made from the jagua berry found in the Amazon rainforest. • Jagua is a rich blue-black hue, and pops beautifully on all skin tones. • Jagua lasts longer than henna -- with extensive care, your jagua tattoo could last up to 3-4 weeks! • Jagua sits on your skin, undisturbed, for about 2 hours or until it dries completely. After you wash off the gel with soap and warm water, your stain will be very faint, but will darken significantly within 24-48hrs.

Lily is absolutely wonderful! My wife and I had hired a face painter for our son's "gotcha day" party but he dropped out the morning of! We were absolutely frantic, but a friend of ours had met Lily while she was face painting at Sixflags, had gotten her number to possibly plan a party, and passed it on to us. We were skeptical, having had never met her, and we were sure she wouldn't be able to do it so last minute but she came through and arrived early so we could interview her beforehand! Absolutely a professional dream. She had a binder of possible designs but also catered to the kids if they wanted something different, which was delightful. Definitely will be working with her again and passing her info to all my mom friends!

My niece recently turned 4, and wanted to have a zoo themed birthday party. I helped my sister plan the party, and at first we were thinking of buying animal masks for the kids, but then a friend of mine recommended Lily. She worked out great, and we're so glad we went with her. She showed up on time, was professional, and her work was very high quality- my sister and I agreed she cared about her work and wasn't just rushing through to get a paycheck. More importantly, the kids just loved her! One of my niece's friends couldn't decide if his favorite animal was a zebra or a tiger, and Lily offered to paint half his face as one and half as the other. Afterwards, the kids had so much fun running around pretending to be the animals they were painted as. All in all, she did a fantastic job.

I went to Lily George to ask if she could facepaint for my kid's 9th birthday, and she was happy to oblige. She did a great job - she was good with the kids, had creative designs that they were excited about, and generally added to the fun atmosphere of the party. I'd definitely recommend her for any events you may have coming up that require a face painter!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically try and charge per face, if you have a headcount. But if you do pay per hour, my prices are slightly lower because I do take a little longer for each face, to ensure quality and uniqueness.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically send a few pictures of my work, along with a reference contact number and a quoted rate. I try to do everything I can to help this be an easy process!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained at Six Flags America by Jeremy of Fox Fine Arts.
