I actually had demolition removal of a large garage area since originally it was not put up with a permit. I am located in DC and I had Ed handle the entire process which couldn't have been better. He is very knowledgable on any demolition needs or debris removal. I am thankful that Ed responded to my request because I knew by other profiles of other contractors that they could not handle the job. I own a real estate firm and now I will be hiring Eds crew to do debris removal on a weekly basis because of the exceptional level of professionalism that Ed portrays to his customers. I highly recommend and 100% agree with all the past reviews and will be referring to all my friends and family.

    This was the second time we placed our home on the market and we were determined to do a better job. So we planned more thoughtfully and specifically. Our realtor recommended Mannie. From our first meeting, I knew we had made the right choice. As we walked through the house, she suggested changes and/or updates we should make to give the house a fresher, more current look. Recommended paint colors, even details like cabinet pulls! Once the house was prepped, the real magic happened with the staging. Our house looked like a model home! Sharon worked closely with us, room by room, to discuss what we would really need in our smaller home. We discussed lifestyle, entertaining, space in the new place and more to narrow down our belongings to move. Sharon coordinated and managed all the items that would be donated, sold or trashed. She also helped with small repairs, cosmetic updates and staging our home for sale.       I contacted 2216 Real Estate Group while I was in the process of purchasing my new home. I knew I needed a general contractor to do some work on the house I was about to purchase. They sent a general contractor to the house to look at the scope of work I needed done and give me an estimate. Once I settled on the house and had the keys in hand, the contractor begun work the very next day! This company is very responsive and professional. I am so happy with the work they did. They exceeded my expectations and they completed the job in the timeframe they told me they would. They remodeled and designed my bathrooms, laid new flooring on my main level, painted my entire house and added a new bedroom to my upstairs den area. I would definitely use them again and refer them to anyone looking for a contractor no matter how big or small the job is.

        Prencella has staged over a dozen homes for my clients. As a Real Estate Broker, it is crucial to have a home well-staged and decorated in this competitive market. Prencella is fantastic! Recently, another Real Estate Agent saw my listing that Prencella staged and wanted to know who staged it. I gave him Prencella's number. Then he called back to ask me how much she charges.         R.J. knew exactly how to set the house up for market. He told me what to do and the the house showed better that I ever thought it could. He brought in a good contract with a fair price. The contract work was delivered in a timely fashion. He made himself available to answer questions at all times. He aligns himself with good people to assist the customer through the transaction. That is important. You feel confident every step of the way through the transaction. His photographer takes very good pictures to make the house show very well.         Home staging is the real estate strategy of decorating your home to be as marketable as possible to your target demographic. Home staging is done by interior decorators and other design pros hired by the homeowner or realtor, prior to putting a house on the market. Think of it as setting the stage for potential buyers to fall more easily in love with their future homes — and to spend top dollar to get them. It’s likely to be worth the investment: The Real Estate Staging Association reports that staged homes spend 90 percent less time on the market than those that are not staged. Home stagers can also be hired even if you’re not going anywhere. Stagers can consult on new layouts for your current home, much like an interior decorator.

        Home staging can take place while you still occupy the house you plan to sell, or when the home is vacant. For an occupied home, the home stager will clear out clutter, rearrange furniture, and bring in decor and furniture as needed to create the perfect environment.         How much does it cost to stage a home for sale?

        Nationally, the price for home staging ranges between $750 and $1,500. The price varies based on how many rooms in the house need staging, whether furniture and decor are needed or the stager can work with the client’s belongings, whether the home is occupied or vacant, and the sale price of the home. Occupied homes typically cost less to stage as they are already furnished, and can require less time and resources than staging an empty house. The main tasks when staging an occupied home are rearranging and decluttering. Staging an empty house can be more expensive as furniture and decor need to be trucked in, requiring transportation, physical labor and potential rental fees. Here are some examples of average home staging costs:

        • 2-hour consultation: $200, includes DIY tips and guidance.
        • 1- to 2-hour consultation and design session: $250, including written report.
