I was looking for someone to paint clouds for my son's nursery. Edward did the MOST amazing job! The room is everything we imagined! So perfect! Would definitely hire him again. It was money well spent! The pictures don't do it justice.Jul 14, 2017Verified
Edward just painted a beautiful mural on my back patio. We had to reschedule twice because of rainy weather. He was flexible, arrived on time, courteous, and most importantly he did a fantastic job. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I left him at my home while I went to work and came back to a masterpiece! Completely trustworthy. This was my first time using thumbtack so I wasn't sure what to expect but I am glad I went with Edward. I had five offers almost right away for my request. Edward's price was reasonable and in the middle of the range of the offers I received. What sold me was his portfolio and overall demeanor and enthusiasm.May 16, 2017Verified
Edward WIlliams arrived at my home on time, having driven 50 miles down Rt. 95 and around the Washington Beltway during the morning rush. He did an outstanding job, painting a mural of a desert landscape under my kitchen island (from a photo). His price was very reasonable. He completed the 26 sq. ft. mural within several hours. I highly recommend him.Mar 15, 2017Verified
Edward painted a beautiful custom mural on our baby's nursery walls! I sent him an idea based on a picture I came across on the internet, and he created the most perfect scene in just one day. Edward was easy to communicate and schedule with, respectful of our time and space, and had a fabulous rate. He was clean and tidy, brought his own materials, and left us with a masterpiece. Thank you so much!Feb 18, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to work from a digital picture of the wall or ceiling being designed. Then, any images the client has or wants I then use "photoshop" to create the preview illusion. This visual is helps establish an understanding of what the mural will look like. Additional discussion can lead to editing and a final concept.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Art (BFA) from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. I have have created over a hundred murals during my career as a professional artist. This includes private, business and public murals. I also teach art classes twice a week.
