Josh was absolutely wonderful to work with. He did my senior portrait photos underneath the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. and made the experience spectacular! He definitely has a strong passion for photography and it shows throughout all of his work. He's incredibly talented and genuinely cares.Apr 5, 2019Verified
I asked Josh to take our fall family photos for Christmas cards and the pictures turned out beautifully. He was incredibly patient with our two children and puppy, and he had great ideas to ensure everyone looked their best. Josh also did a really nice job keeping us all relaxed and laughing and he was right - the takes / photos captured between the formals pictures turned out the best! What we received back from Josh are perfect portraits of our kids, and a beautiful reflection of the relationship between myself and my husband. I'm so grateful for the wide variety of styled and candid photos and I will absolutely hire Josh again!Nov 20, 2018Verified
I needed professional portrait photos in a pinch, and Josh came through with a next day photo shoot and great looking pictures! He was very professional and a pleasure to work with.Jul 6, 2018Verified
I liked everything about the experience. He was on time, provided immediate suggestions on which shirts to use and combined those with backdrops that really worked. Very genuinely friendly and professional and knows what he's doing. We took a lot of photos and I had more than enough from which to choose. Working with him again for our family portraits. Definitely recommend!Aug 8, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Each unique client deserves a unique product and approach. Others' vision may be different from yours. At the end of the day, I always aspire for happy clients and cost-efficiency is a large component of this. I'm not huge on up-selling and I don't sweat the small stuff.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Finding a client that connects with my work is something I'm always grateful for. I'm thankful somebody feels that my work is something worth getting to know a bit better. Photography is highly subjective and intimate. Please ask me anything, your confidence in your artist plays a significant role in developing your vision into something tangible. Although I love phone calls, texting, Facetime and Skype - I'm always up for a firm handshake and good (or bad) cup of coffee. Coffee is key. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been self-educating myself since for more than 15 years. :) Understanding how a camera works is fairly simple. Understanding people takes a bit of practice. Years of experience has taught me intuition and how to create objectively for my clients.
