Introduction: My work, be it handyman or high craftmanship, is of the highest quality and my rates are very reasonable, generally $60-$75/hour. I feel I have a talent for design that truly shows in my custom pieces and also the construction knowledge and craftmanship to bring a creative vision, mine or yours, to reality. Taking care of people by helping them take care of their homes and occasionally getting to make a client incredibly happy and pleased with something amazingly unique and beautiful.

Dan and Luis installed a subway tile backsplash in my kitchen. Dan communicated with me throughout the process. The work looks great. When the job was complete, they cleaned up the area. I would not hesitate to have them complete other home improvement projects.

Details: Kitchen • Backsplash • 25 - 50 sq ft • Drywall • No, but I will buy the tiles myself

Dan does beautiful work! Before we met Dan (about 18 years ago) we suffered financial headaches and much heartache at the hands of several other contractors. Since then, however, Dan has done many projects for us Bedroom and bathroom remodeling, kitchren remodeling, built-in bookcases, fine cabinetry, plate glass window replacement, etc. His work has always been excellent, and he has always been financially reasonable and personally very pleasant to work with. We have very high expectations of a contractor and Dan has never let us down; his attention to detail is excellent. Whenever we do a project with Dan and his crew we don’t have a worry about the quality of the work, the well-being of our home, or that we’re being treated honestly and fairly. It’s wonderful!

We want you to know how happy we are with the two projects you completed for us. The built-ins and the TV cabinet are absolutely perfect in both design and construction. We take great pride especially in showing off the TV cabinet which exudes a powerful WOW-factor. ..a very creative design that is more like a work of art than a storage cabinet. You are a true craftsman and a pleasure to work with.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I generally charge $60-$75 per hour including time picking up materials for most handyman jobs. I have a 2 hour minimum which includes travel time and materials pickup. I price remodeling work and cabinetry by the job.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Anything and everything... Last week for a client's rental basement apartment I had to jackhammer up a section of concrete floor and rearrange some drain pipes that were installed, well, basically backwards and repour the concrete, then when that was done I opened up a wall with a big dead space in it, reframed it, and installed new cabinetry....I love creating great storage space from wasted space.
