God dings contracting was perfect for our family's needs. Mike and his wife Janeane were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure the best quality work was put into finishing our basement. They did not cut any corners and even did parts of the work themselves, instead of contracting out, in order to meet our budget. They walked us through every single step and decision and ensured that we fully understood everything. When complications in the project arose, like permit/code issues or insufficiencies in the original builders work, Mike did everything possible to make the necessary adjustments in the most cost effective ways. He even went down to the county with my husband to work out permit issues. And most importantly, I never had to worry about leaving them in our home with workers going in and out; they made sure we were comfortable with all aspects of the job. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that they did on our home.

I needed a consultation with a pro to confirm if I could take out three walls to open up the kitchen. Mike Giddings came out the same day and spent a good while explaining everything about the walls and giving us the good news that we could safety remove them. He was very knowledgable and professional. While we are going to try to do the project ourselves I will not hesitate to call him if we need help or for future projects. I recommend him highly for consultations or for start to finish projects!

Kitchen update We love our kitchen’s new look thanks to Mike Giddings and his team. The owner came to our home to give us a free estimate. He had provided plenty of references who were very happy with the quality of work they provided. They helped with design such as picking out paint, flooring and tile backsplash to coordinate with the new granite installed. The workers were courteous and finished the job quickly. They paid careful attention to details like smooth and even seals when caulking, neat paint application, and staggered pattern of the wood floors. We definitely recommend the quality of work, very impressed with our kitchen transformation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Typical process for your Project: We generally will schedule a consult/estimate and take a look at the project,s location, accessibility, and speak with the Home owner or Business owner on what they are looking for and assist with any information & feedback that can help the Owner as well as protect the owner. We assist with the original Scope of Work as well as any design or material/sub needs. We also Give the owners more information about us as well as let them know of any SALES or discounts available to them, at that time we like to ask the owner of any concerns, questions or comments we can help with. Once the estimated quote is given to the owner we do a follow up to see if we can assist with any questions or needs. Once project contract is signed and agreed upon we then schedule a time to start , order materials and give a reciept for down payment and a payment draw schedule. ( NEVER GIVE ANY CONTRACTOR, HANDYMAN, or PERSON DOING WORK ALL YOUR MONEY DOWN !) Maryland law is Thirds . You will receive a receipt every time you give us a draw. At the end of the job we meet at the project and go over the scope of work completed and ensure you are happy with the completed project. We have been licensed in the STATE of MARYLAND for over 25 years or more with: M.H.I.C. # 72846 ( MARYLAND HOME IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION) CONTRACTOR/SALES license and a General License, I have 30 years background, Started Framing & Building houses for Ryan, Roland, & Ryland in home developments, Remodeling, Restoration & Preservation on older homes and historic homes. Then opened my business 25 years ago in Building & Remodeling. We have recommendations for our work from Building Inspectors, banks and 35 yrs or referrals from our clients. We are part of Building Trades Asssociation as well as certified with the many material suppliers on their applications. Are personnel is always up to date with the latest developments, skill enhancements, codes and materials as well as application principles or any updates to newer products. I have been a Master Carpenter/Builder for over 25 years as well as wearing all the hats to run a business successfully and properly.
