Introduction: We attribute our success largely to our mulch-technique training methods, which Rick began started while training his first dog in Vietnam, and we have all perfected over the years! Every dog is DIFFERENT! Different breeds, ages, temperaments, different particular issues, and different specific goals that our clients would like to achieve... So using just one technique like most other trainers just doesn't make sense! We genuinely enjoy working with dogs and strengthening the bond between clients and their furry friends through obedience.

We came to Rick and Jess last Sunday and I can't tell you how dedicated these two are to their job. They listen to your specific situation and offer such great advice while getting to know your dog individually. We were having problems with our dog and our friend's dog getting along and they not only met with us at the kennel (just our dog), they also came out a week later to our home to see Lizzie and the other dog interact and work with them in the moment - wow! I couldn't have asked for more. Both Jess and Rick are knowledgeable and more importantly, positive and helpful teachers when working with you and your dog. I feel that the knowledge we gained from them has added to our relationship with our dog and has added so much more joy to our dog's life. She is now working and learning more than she ever has. I also feel that their input has greatly helped with our situation and will help the two dogs get along. I would recommend them over and over and look forward to visiting them again at the kennel. Thank you, thank you! Can I give 6 stars??

Our pricing is simple. Once we talk to you and figure out your specific goals and expectations for your dog, we can come up with the most effective training program to enroll your dog in (we don't want to over charge you if we can evaluate your needs and get it done in a less intensive and expensive program)!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly learning every day! We learn from each other every day, and also regularly attend seminars and training workshops to stay up to date on the latest training techniques and to see which techniques are more effective and worth using!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We all decided to train dogs professionally because we have a passion for it. We are successful largely because we genuinely enjoy what we are doing; making sure the end result is a happy, well trained dog that you can enjoy for many years.
