After talking to Bespoke Editorial I decided that my book was not ready for copy editing. Sabrina suggested that I take my book to a develop editor,or try to get feed back from writing community groups. I went to a writing meet up, and I was not satisfied. All the feedback I got was that the book is too dense. Sabrina explained what this meant and then pitched the idea of a manuscriptevaluator being the strategic decision to do to see if the book was ready for copy editing. From there she recemmended three developmental editors who do manuscript evaluating. She even gave me the rate they would charge.

Amenah has been an indispensable component of some of my best work throughout my bachelor and masters degrees. Even if the subject matter is obscure, she is able to quickly understand the point I was trying to get across and help me find the most strategic, well-organized pathway to get my point across to the reader. Importantly, she takes into consideration the audience you are writing for (whether academic, journalistic, grant agencies, etc.), helping you tailor the form and delivery of your writing. Amenah is not only a skilled grammatical editor. She is able to work with my style of writing, not against it, making me a better writer with each project she assists on. Her personable nature and common sense way of talking me through even the most complex subject matter helps me organize my thoughts and arguments, making any writing task seem far less daunting. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Amenah.

I worked with Kevin on two different projects. A complete confusing book manuscript and a synopsis of a potential tv idea. I write in stream of consciousness and Kevin professionally and meticulously unraveled it all into a very readable format. He is a nice guy to work with and very fair and generous with his time. He has incredible dairoken(Japanese intuition) for an American and quickly puts himself in the author's shoes to make a clear and concise product. I highly recommend him for any writing project you have in mind and worth twice the money! Ray Hodge

So far, Sharon has been great. She is quite responsive, easy to work with, and her skills are exactly what I'm looking for in editing my manuscript. The fact that she is familiar with my genre and is flexible to work with as well, has put me at ease. I look forward to seeing her complete work and as of now, I can say that I hope to work with her on other work as well. Will update upon completion!

Here's what clients love about me as a Copy Editor: 1) I can work with all types of writers, from experienced and polished to writers who can't organize a thought to those with little concept of English grammar and word usage – including ESL authors. 2) I can shape anything into a very conversational writing style so anything so anyone can understand it, regardless of how complex or dry the material is. 3) I learn quickly enough to work just as effectively with topics I do not yet know anything about. 4) And perhaps most importantly, I am easy to work with, accessible, approachable, dependable, and deliver quality work on or before the promise date.
