Introduction: Hello! My name is Scarlet Prado and ever since I can remember I have been making clothes for my children. From pajama pants to bohemian dresses, my family has seen the evolution. Most of my work revolves around alterations and custom jobs, such as the one that I made for my daughter. I also do reupholstery for dining chairs to living room sofas. I am mostly self taught but have taken classes at my local fabric stores.

What I enjoy most about this work is making my clients dreams come true. Many of my custom crafts are things that my clients request, whether it be a bag or a doll. I can do just about anything, as long as my customer is happy! I began alterations when I saw that sometimes department stores just don't understand our bodies. Which is why I started by helping my children feel comfortable in their bodies and now I do the same for my clients.

Scarlett is amazing! I needed alterations done to a bridesmaids dress and she was able to make my dress fit beautifully , quality workmanship at a very reasonable cost. I will be contacting her for future alterations.

Scarlet is a delightful discovery for me since I found her through Thumbtack.com and was using her for the first time. She was the lowest bid compared to the other four who were well known bigger companies in the area. I went with Scarlet not only because of the price but because she was very personable and the most responsive to all my initial inquiries. I am so happy I did!!
She did an absolutely superb quality job on reupholstering two big armchairs for me. (Then I find out that she also does alterations on clothes. That is like winning the lottery twice.)
