Introduction: I have been working as a freelance editor in the Washington, DC area for more than 5 years. I mainly use Final Cut Pro, but have knowledge in other non-linear systems as well.
At the University of Maryland Baltimore County, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in film and video production in 2002. I've worked as a footage researcher at National Geographic in their film and TV library and The Kamber Group, a full-service PR company.
I taught video production at The Carver Center for Arts and Technology, and I have worked as a freelance editor for several companies in the area, including Retirement Living Television and AFI. Please go to my website to view a copy of my reel.
My experience in film and video production includes writing, producing, directing, and editing film and video. I have experience with 16mm film, beta, and DV cameras, along with knowledge of lighting and sound.
