If I could give 20 stars I would. I received a new roof and gutters. The owner came out and was very informative and most importantly he did not try me sell me something that wasn’t needed. My job was complete in less than 3 days.

BOTTOM LINE: Jose and his company Restoration Roofing are heroes to this military veteran family and restored a sense of pride and ownership in our home. We are a multi-generational family thrown together under one roof after COVID and still working to recover. When a spring storm damaged our home's aged roof to the point of indoor leaking, we were also in the middle of state-to-state moves to transition care for my elderly mother with Alzheimer's, preparing for the arrival of my second grandchild, and dealing with a multitude of other home maintenance and healthcare issues. A new roof at this point seemed impossible and one thing too many. As a disabled vet with fixed income and limited functioning, it seemed that the roof was literally going to come crashing down around us. I was at my wit's end when I found Jose on Thumbtack. Despite his excellent reviews, I had very low expectations based on our ongoing experience in dealing with contractors who were low-effort, unprofessional, or scammy. Our roof required full replacement that was fortunately covered by homeowner's insurance, however none of the contractors we contacted were willing to complete the work for the amount approved by our adjuster. They all cited inflation's impact on roofing materials and quoted 15-20% above the insurance adjuster's approved amount. The insurance adjuster was unwilling to reconsider based on their estimates, so we were at an impasse for over a month with a leaking roof. Jose listened with empathy and compassion as he assessed the embarrassing state of our roof and gutters. He arrived with branded information and explained Restoration Roofing's process, which includes the use of modern technology to make accurate measurements and share photos of work in progress. I was impressed with his transparency and professionalism but didn't believe I would be able to afford this level of quality and service. I actually cried when he stated that out of appreciation to veterans, his company would work with me and my insurance company to ensure we had a roof immediately. Jose was true to his word and his company arrived like the cavalry the very next week and we had a new roof within a matter days. His crew was professional and efficient, and I received real-time photos of the repairs. Most importantly, the quality of the work was unexpectedly pristine. Our roof feels like it was installed by detail-obsessed perfectionists and craftsmen. Also true to his word, Jose patiently dealt with the administrative bureaucracy between my insurance and mortgage company over the next several months to finally receive payment. It has only taken me months to write this review because I was at a loss for words at his continued kindness and patience throughout a frustrating and ongoing process. Jose's estimate was the only one my insurance adjuster would consider increasing the payout, and he worked with me on the balance due to ensure affordability. I never imagined how important a new roof would be to our lives. It completely changed the look of our house, and I watched in amazement over the following months as my daughter and son-in-law took on a new sense of pride and ownership in the house that was once the most unattractive and dilapidated on our end of the block. Our new roof inspired a chain-reaction of personal and environmental improvements that made our house feel more like a forever home, and just in time to welcome my new grandson. We were able to welcome him to a whole home, thanks to the angels that are Jose and Restoration Roofing. I will emphatically recommend and insist on them to family and friends and will use them again when it's time for a new roof. A company with these values and service will be around. Love Restoration Roofing! They are great at what they do. They are responsible experts who will work with you on roof installation. Very prompt, professional, and kind. The owner personally came to give an estimate and worked with me to answer all questions to be sure I felt confident in the job. Truly a kind and professional bunch. My roof and gutters were a mess. They cleaned everything (including my neighbor's deck from debris!!!) and patched a hole in my roof. Can’t say enough good things about their team.
