Grace took a class with Rusty and Kaeley and not only had a lot of fun, she really learned something! Beautiful art everywhere in this place. My view reading a book in their main gallery while Grace worked in the back room!

About

My wife and I have unique opportunity to offer. My wife is a basket-maker and teaches basket making in our home studio. She has over 20 years of experience and has won many awards. I have a small blacksmith studio and would enjoy working with a student interested in completing small projects while learning basic techniques. My wife and I own a small log cabin that we can house our guests. I am a retired school administrator and have been blacksmithing for the past 10 years. Being an educator for over 30 years, I look forward to working with any interested students.

About

My teaching is Art and way beyond Art. The learning environment is a special place where all factors benefit the student. Teacher has a unique teaching style that never assumes what the student already does or doesn't know or which part of what they learn will most benefit them.

I love it! My son was struggling with his Chemistry class so much that his grades were horrible. With just a few sessions he's now understanding the subject and was able to get a B in his class! Rachel has been an incredible tutor for him. Highly Recommend

About

We provide art classes for ages 7 to adult. Our system takes the student through a progression of charcoal, pastel and oil painting. Beginning with basics of drawing, learning how to use light and shadow to create realistic works, we move into soft pastel as a primary learning medium. Students work from still life, landscape and if desired, portrait. Instruction is individual and student's work at their own pace and comfort level. Students can progress from pastel into oils. We love working with beginners but can accomodate all levels. We specialize in helping students prepare portfolios for magnet schools and colleges. Director Alan Fink has been painting professionally and teaching for 39 years.
