Brandon is a personable professional. He completed the installation of the garbage disposer and the sink faucet patiently. I am totally satisfied with the service. He is a man of integrity and very good manners.
Terrific business to work with. Arrived on time, removed all our trash, very personable, gave quote and stuck with the amount. Very impressed. Would definitely hire again and highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
Ryan showed up on time as scheduled. He was very fast and efficient with the replcement of the garbage disposal. I will definitely use Ryan of Delightful Contracting for future plumbing needs.
I decided to go with Tony because his quote was very detailed and he attached pictures of past jobs. Even though he came 30 minutes late, he was able to complete the job just in time. I was very happy with the results and his professionalism. He took care of the TV and was careful of picking up any garbage left behind. I recommend him and will definitely hire him again.
Mr Stavo Hurtado is very professional and efficient, he installed my garbage disposal in a jiff. I will definitely use him on my next projects, thank you Thumbtack , Great job!!!
Giovanni of Gios builders responded to my posting with a good price and prompt, professional service. He found an easy fix for the problem and agreed to accept much less for his services because it did not involve much work.
Somehow while fumbling around in the kitchen, I got a fork stuck in my garbage disposal. I tried for weeks to pull it out, to no avail. Edward came by and got the fork unstuck in record time. He was willing to work around my busy schedule and provided his services at a very fair price. I would definitely reach out to him again for future home improvement needs.
Patrick is a great handyman! I needed my waste/garbage disposal fixed in a timely manner and Patrick reached out within minutes, provided a quick consultation, then bought the appropriate new parts on my behalf and installed everything the same day. My new disposal was ready to go within 11 hours from the time of my request/Thumbtack post.
Paul was very nice and accomodating. The haulers arrived at the provided time and were quick and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone in need of hauling and moving services.
Bill installed a new toliet in my master bathroom and it looks great! He actually met me at the store where I purchased the toliet so he could transport it in his vehicle to my house. He even got rid of the old toliet for me. Quick and efficient install and reasonable price!
He removed my old garbage disposal, replaced my pipes and cut off the electric supply. He was very kind, professional and efficient. I would hire him again.
Juan and his team did such an amazing job, we cannot stop looking at the floor they tiled. First, they tore up our own horrible attempt at tiling. They were also very nice and even took garbage from a separate project. Very reasonably priced- we highly recommend.
Months ago, I looked for someone to do a small painting project on Thumbtack. And I ended up with a brand new home. Christian, Jessica, Hector and the rest of the team at 5th Gen Group honestly do miracles. We own a 100+ year old row home in Washington DC and we've had problems ever since we moved in five years ago. After dealing with four different contractors that left me unsatisfied, I tried Thumbtack (at that time, new in the DC area). Christian came out to do an estimate and I was impressed by him from the get go - as a woman, I hate when contractors act like I'm stupid or uninformed. Christian never did that, and he answered all my questions respectfully and thoroughly and would defer to my wishes. We initially contracted for a gut remodel of our ancient kitchen and leaking bathroom. Christian's professional opinion was heavily appreciated as well as his vision - he instantly "got" the feel of a space and spent a lot of time listening to not only what we wanted, but how we would use the space and what we planned for the house in the future. Of course, the best laid plans always go awry - we knew our house had a few "handyman specials" but once Christian opened up the floor in the kitchen, we realized we were really in for it. Down there was a hidden mess of rotting wires, missing piping, garbage from the last renovations, and rotted-out beams. Overnight, our budget doubled. I personally wanted to die. But Christian calmly lead us through the process, helped us try to salvage our murdered budget, and focused on explaining the trade-off in home values. We ended up with an additional half bath downstairs (because really, what was another 5K at that point?), brand new kitchen (with a small bar!) a brand new stairwell and relocated laundry room, and a brand new bathroom with a shower (after 5 years of an ancient leaking cast iron tub). Christian isn't completely perfect - he's totally a perfectionist, and if you are one too, be prepared for some long conversations. There is an epic texting exchange over the bathroom tile that I may print out just to see how long it really was. But that's about the only thing. Also, for the other ladies on here- I always hate opening my home to someone because I have had bad experiences with contractors who were, at best, creepy. Christian and Hector were completely professional, and they really went the extra mile to make sure I always knew who would be in the house, when they would arrive, and how to reach both of them. Christian also has a lot of loyalty and integrity toward his clients - he is always fair, both in pricing and in the treatment of your home. He broke a small appliance - the only reason I knew was because he called me when he was purchasing an (upgraded) replacement on his own dime. All renovations are hard projects, long projects, and frequently frustrating. There was definitely a day when I wanted to kill Christian for sending me out to two different quarries in far out Virginia right around rush around. But when I stepped into my home for the first time, I couldn't stop smiling. And when we finally scrape together the budget for a third floor extension, I know exactly who I am calling.
They cleaned my fridge and oven, cleaned the mirrors, emptied trash cans, made a very cute stuffed animal display for my 5 year old son in his room. He was thrilled.
Over the last 10 months of a never ending kitchen restoration, my DH and I have interacted with many contractors, vendors and repair people. Some of those experiences have been so God awful that I just wanted to go sit in the corner of a room and stare off into space from the shock. Not in this case. Our yard became a wasteland of debris and horrifying garbage after 1. storing our kitchen goods and wares outside in a tent. 2. The workers we had redoing our kitchen were constantly throwing their supplies/trash/detritus outside. 3. A rainy, mild winter resulted in many sopping wet pieces of cardboard, tarps, etc. 4. The final kicker was the last Winter snowstorm a few weeks back. Lost a lot of supplies and belongings to melting snow that turned into pure ice and than ruined things in the melt. So this was not an easy, nice or organized job to do. Basically our yard looked liked a ruined base camp after a Mount Everest collapse combined with a post apocalyptic backdrop for a Zombie movie. That was before the Junk Unlimited crew showed up today. I only give high praise once in a blue moon. It is well deserved here. Fast, super polite and very organized work. Something that could have been fraught with stress, was actually a happy experience. Very reasonable rates too. It is so nice to find total professionals who do a job well and leave people smiling when they're done. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Sergio did a very high-quality job in both the rough-in and finish plumbing of an island sink. Also installed dishwasher, touchless faucet, and garbage disposal. Very efficient professional who can be trusted to get the job done at a reasonable price. I've hired him for four separate jobs and have been pleased with his results. Definitely recommend.
Hired to fix my garbage disposal. I had bought a new disposal in case it needed to be replaced, but luckily, the pro fixed the current one, which saved me money. He was also very responsive and gave me a good price.
Professional and courteous service. Price for garbage disposal installation was very reasonable.
Get it removed was great at coming to my home and helping clear out a bunch of stuff I needed to get rid of that was taking up an incredible amount of space in my garage. I can now use it as an actual garage! The task became overwhelming so dealing with it was a problem for me until I called Get It Removed!!! They were prompt, did the job quickly, and I would use them again. Thank you guys!
They were really nice to me. After my mom passed cleaning her apt out seemed like a nightmare, but with the help of Kevin and James I was able to get the job done in a timely manner, and can look forward to the road ahead. I recommend these guys to anyone looking for haulers or even help with landscaping.
