We loved having George at our party. The guest really had a great time watching all the wonderful caricatures being done. Each drawing was personalized and closely resembled the person. Everyone from 2 to 70 enjoyed there special work of art .George arrived promptly and worked all night even stayed a few extra minutes to draw the last request. We are happy we found George and really enjoyed his quality service. This offered a special treat to our family and friends.
Ms. People's is a pleasure to work with. I commissioned her to do a piece of art for me, a self portrait actually. She used mediums that worked really well together and I was extremely pleased with the result. It took her a week to finish it and it looks GREAT on my wall. I would definitely have her work for me again. Really just outstanding, thanks!
I have always liked the idea of painting but often I get discouraged because it does not come natural to me. However, after taking Michelle's art class, I found myself signing up for more classes. She has a professional but carefree teaching approach that allowed me to take the pressure off. I enjoyed learning different techniques and learning how to add my personality to my artwork. It is a wonderful way to disengage from the hustle of the work week.
I took two classes with Kate - an intermediate drawing class and illustration. I had a great experience with both. Kate's approach to teaching drawing is very methodical and provided me with a set of rules and techniques for drawing that I hadn't experienced before. I highly recommend Kate for those who would like to practice and understand the fundamentals of drawing, especially those who appreciate a more technical style.
In every art class taken at 'Christine M Jenkins Fine Art' ... I have learned a new insight, perspective and techniques in art class that I never knew before. I appreciate her personal style and experience in teaching art.
My children attended an art camp under Leslie's instruction. Both went in a bit cautious as artists but eager to learn. We were amazed by the progress they made artistically in one short week - and by the confidence they each gained in their abilities and ideas. They each have a framed canvas hanging at home - my daughter has 2! - and they were nearly as excited at learning framing techniques as they were with producing the art. For what my children brought home in materials and finished art work, the class was very reasonably priced. I HIGHLY recommend Leslie's art classes and would happily enroll my children again.
Grace took a class with Rusty and Kaeley and not only had a lot of fun, she really learned something! Beautiful art everywhere in this place. My view reading a book in their main gallery while Grace worked in the back room!
Nina taught a number of drawing, painting, and sculpture classes for my homeschooling group. Since our children were different ages, she planned a lesson for the older or more capable students as well as one for the younger students, and in that way she was able to accommodate several different age groups with the help of a supervising parent. Nina's thoughtful suggestions to each student brought out individual abilities, besides the basic skills that she addressed. She was particularly adept at bringing self-conscious and reluctant students into the art arena.
I had a great experience working with Lala Dotsey! She is an incredible professional and has a very nice personality. Our classes were interesting and highly productive. I always wanted to learn how to draw, but couldn't find a good teacher. I am happy that I found Lala, she helped my dream come true. I definitely recommend her to anyone!
I am extremely well trained technically, and I really care about people. Many of the people I have worked with started by telling me they "couldn't draw", or were "bad at art." I believe everyone is an artist, its just a matter of looking at something, a drawing, a sculpture, whatever it is, with the right eyes and the right mind set.
