Hired Marvin to fix some plaster in my ceiling. I have 100+ year old house in Baltimore city and the ceiling plaster had some water damage from a roof leak. I had the roof repaired by a roofer last year, but needed to have the plaster fixed where it had gotten wet. Marvin gave me a quick reply and estimate, came out and go the job done super quick and done right! Even more impressively, you would never know that someone had done any plaster work in the room as he cleaned up the dust/debris COMPLETELY and took all the trash with him. The repair looks great and I'm super satisfied. Definitely hire Marvin for any job, I highly recommend.Aug 30, 2015Verified
Everything was great when they finished! They even pulled out my refrigerator and cleaned behind it.Sep 22, 2017Verified
Griss Maid Services is joint company of Baiza Construction both of which I had utilized over the course of a couple years, most recently this month. The ladies are nice and humble and do a good job. Marvin Guzman is good at cleaning people's houses as I have hired other companies, such as Merry Maids, and others in the past. Make sure you get a receipt and the form of payment in case you hire them again to compare the price to the previous time. Thankfully I had a receipt and form of payment to show him and work that out.Jan 15, 2017Verified
Griss Maid Services were GREAT! The ladies were very professional and did an excellent job with our home. They were even able to remove cooking stains in my oven that I thought were permanent! They were timely and just very pleasant! We will be hiring them again!Jul 1, 2016Verified

- What types of customers have you worked with?House cleaning and apartment turnover cleaning for new construction in the D.C. metropolitan area. We are often asked to do a thorough "spring cleaning" by our residential clients and we clean "everything." From there, we can do our usual thorough cleaning until the next "spring cleaning."
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take? For an apartment building in Bethesda, I was asked to clean 13 large ground-floor windows. They had not been cleaned in years and were grimy. I used a power washer first, then scrubbed and used a squeegee. Then I sprayed window cleaner and wiped them down. The last step was window cleaner with newspaper as the applicator. The windows shined and the customer beamed.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Ask for references from the provider and check them out. If they are from repeat customers and the reviews are great, hire the provider.
