I have always ADORED reggae and dancehall music, but had never taken a dance class. I finally decided to try to find a dancehall class and discovered RaeDiant Movement in a Google search. Although I live in Woodbridge, Virginia and the classes were in Takoma Park, Maryland, I decided to give it a try and boy! ...the drive was worth it! The instructor had a sweet spirit and was very patient with me and the other students. She encouraged us through trying to catch onto the movements and made it fun and relaxing. Although I am praying that she will begin teaching a class on the Virginia side, I am grateful to have such an outlet that is still worth the drive! Dutty wine! ;-)

I've been going to Erica's class for a little over a year, and I still can't seem to get enough! Erica brings us classic Dancehall moves, mixed with all the hot new styles, all while working up a nice sweat! I always feel like I get a full body work out, and if I take classes regularly I feel my endurance and stamina increase dramatically. Erica is warm and welcoming, always inviting people of any skill level to join her classes. She is so receptive of all the different levels that often she'll break down the moves until people really get them, or have alternative moves in the routine that you can adjust to your comfort level. In her class it's all about bringing what you've got, and being proud of it! She always says to "Show up, and show out!" reminding us that we each have a unique style, something to be proud of. She helps everyone leave their mark on the Dance floor, in the true spirit of the Dancehall style. The best improvement would be longer classes, so she could teach us more! It always seems like the end of class comes too soon, once we really get the ball rolling. Can't wait to see her take over more of the DMV, her class is so unique, and reasonably priced, everyone should be taking it!

this class is da bomb! had me feeling ready to go to Jamaica and get my dancehall on! instruction is easy, mood is fun, workout is intense! looking forward to dance hall and dancehall boot camp!!!!
