Outlining the current state of their life is the best starting point. This highlights what is working and what is not, as well as any issues they have specifically.

Most commonly I work on with my clients on their relationship issues. I do work with people on general life wellness, career and other major decisions as well. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently I worked with a couple on their relationship issues. You can't control someone else but you can work to understand each other better and that was my focus. Relationships are tricky because I can't promise an outcome to you one way in terms of a couple staying together. I can only promise that we'll work through your issue(s) together. In this case, the understanding each other better got these these two back on the same page and they have recommitted to one another.
