FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
ACUPUNCTURE: The first visit is a 1.5 hr intake where we go over your medical and social history, I do physical exams (different than Western physicals), and your first needle treatment. 1st Visit Cost: $150 Follow up visits last 45 min to 1 hr and are $90. I do not currently accept insurance directly but give you all the forms that you need in order to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I accept Aetna insurance. Most PPO plans for other insurance companies now cover acupuncture, and I am happy to check your benefits for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can have a call to see if acupuncture is right for you, or we can have the intake appointment, which lasts about 1.5 hrs. During this intake, we go over your medical and social history, I do several exams, and you get your first needle treatment. I will come up with a treatment plan and review with you how many treatments I believe it will take in order for you to have relief from your symptoms, or begin to notice changes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Doctorate of Acupuncture (2018), a Master of Acupuncture (2010), a Reiki Master certification, a Feng Shui certification, and Yoga Instructor certification.
