Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?ACUPUNCTURE: The first visit is a 1.5 hr intake where we go over your medical and social history, I do physical exams (different than Western physicals), and your first needle treatment. 1st Visit Cost: $135 Follow up visits last 45 min to 1 hr and are $80. I do not currently accept insurance directly but give you all the forms that you need in order to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I am in the process of being credentialed to take CareFirst BCBS and Cigna, and expect this to be active in Fall 2017. Most insurance companies now cover acupuncture, however you will have to contact your insurance company to ask them, since all plans differ.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?My ideal patient is someone who is committed to their wellbeing and coming as often as it takes to get them to feel better. My goal is to have you eventually coming in as little as possible, because that means that you are doing really well. I want to empower my patients to put them in a place to be able to take care of their health, and partner with them on the journey, helping out where I can. I promise to be a compassionate, understanding practitioner, who is devoted to helping you feel better through all the various outlets that I have at my disposal (acupuncture, reiki, nutrition).
