- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into my line of work when I couldn't stop mixing my own drinks. I started off when I became legal and just poured juice into a metal cup which I didn't know was called a shaker at the time. I filled it with other liquors took a sip shared it with my family and friends and they fell in love. From there I realized that I like to see peoples faces when I "experiment" with mixed drinks.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Cocktail hours and party drinks. Creative shots as well. Occasional wines and beers as well.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you find someone that shares the same interest as you. There are a lot of different ways people bar-tend just make sure you find the right one that fits your needs. Whether it be socially, drink wise, or just overall whoever you choose make it the right one!
