FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. In our field there is way to many variables to control standards ( material pricing) is constantly changing due to demand of oil/petroleum products.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically what goes on is a customer reaches out to us about there project. Then after speaking to them about there project, we then set up a time for us to meet them on site or when we can go out to the site, where we walk over the project and make our notes and suggestions. Also answer any questions the customer may have and Preform the estimate process. With this field very often it is required for us to physically look at the site for accurate pricing and address any concerns we or the customer may have. Once a agreement is made a starting date is given. Then the work is preformed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It's a trade and business that's been handed down from generation to generation. But we got our start back in 1972. After our founder Stan Nichols worked for our material supplier installing roads, streets and interstates. He decided to go off on his own and start Nichols Asphalt. 40 + years later we are still using the same practices and standards he tought us.
