- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The sessions are priced according to the service requested by the client. I'm considered "out of network" for insurance plans and will provide you with the forms to mail to your insurance for possible reimbursement. I do offer bundle packages which provide a discount in pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the first session I get to know the client as best as possible so we both can come up with a workable plan of action to guide the person to their goals. All of my forms, scheduling, and billing are online for convenience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have advanced degrees in counseling, philosophy, and theology. After college I obtained specialized training in cognitive-behavioral counseling, addiction counseling and life coaching. I have worked for over 20 years in the counseling field in Baltimore City and the metro Baltimore area. Much of my career was as an administrator (either clinical director or CEO) while maintaining a clinical caseload. I have was an adjunct professor at Towson University yet am currently serving as an adjunct professor in McDaniel College's Graduate School of Counseling.
